Senior goalkeeper Taylor Jensen had eight saves in Sycamore's 1-0 win over Lakota East in a Division I boys' soccer district semifinal Wednesday at Kings. Sycamore next will play at 4 p.m. Saturday at Mason. St. Xavier 1, Princeton 0, Division I district semifinal - Senior Ryan Dalton had six saves for the Bombers. Sophomore midfielder Danny Lusheck, who recently was called up from the junior varsity team, scored the only goal of the • game.· COMMRMENTS: Alex Wmuners, a senior baseball pitcher/infielder at Moeller, has given an oral com-

mitment to Ohio State. Wmuners last season was 5-3 with a 1.53 ERA, with 63 strikeouts in 51 innings. He also batted .473with21RBI. He was co-player of the year in the Greater ·Catholic League South. • Trace Voshell, a senior catcher/infielder at Clermont Northeastem, has committed to Ohio University. Last season he hit .494 with 30 runs scored, 11 steals and 31 RBI. He was Southern Buckeye Conference-American player of the year. • Ian Kadish, a senior pitcher at Wyoming, has committed to Marshall. He also is a standout kicker for the Wyoming football team and might explore playing football at Marshall. -
