DISTRICT HONOREES: Two Crusaders were named to the All-Southwest District team on Tuesday. Junior, Alex Kazanecki was named First Team All-Southwest District and senior, Eric Mahaffey was named Third Team All-Southwest District. Kazanecki leads the Crusaders in scoring at 12.6 ppg and in three point shooting percentage at 41.6%. Mahaffey is second on the team in scoring at 8.6 ppg and leads the Crusaders in rebounds per game with 5.5 and assists per game with 2.8.

TOP DOG AGAIN: The Crusaders are a #1 seed in the OHSAA Tournament for the 8th time since 2010. The Crusaders are 46-4 (.920) as a top seed and have made it to the Regional Final in all seven previous tournaments as a #1 seed. Additionally, the Crusaders have played for the State Championship in three of those years.

GOING FROM SWEET TO ELITE: The Crusaders are appearing in their 20th Sweet Sixteen in program history and 14-5 (.736) in this round of the tournament. The Crusaders have won five straight Sweet Sixteen games dating back to the 2017 tournament with an average margin of victory of 10.6 ppg.

EXCELLENCE AT XAVIER: Big Moe will be returning to the Cintas Center for the District Championship. Since 2010, the Crusaders are 13-5 (.705) in all contests at the Cintas Center, including a current seven game winning streak dating back to 2018. .

POLL CHAMPIONS: The Crusaders were named Associated Press (AP) State Poll Champions for the 6th time in program history on Monday. The Crusaders also claimed the AP Poll State Championship in 2008, 2014, 2017, 2019 and 2020.

TOURNEY TIME RECORD: Archbishop Moeller is 155-52 (.748) all-time in the OHSAA Tournament. The Crusaders have made eight apperances in the Final Four; winning five Division I State Championships and finishing as State Runner-Up twice.
