PRINCETON - Sept .. 6 Friday 8 P. M. at Princeton Stadium ... was 8-1-1 last season and went undefeated in their league which has such great powers -as Middletown and HimH ton Garfield. Princeton should be exceptionally big this year with great speed. Expects a great team.
McNICHOLAS - Oct •. l2 Saturday 8 P.M. at Anderson; •• After a lean year with many soph' s a·nd j t' s playing, the Rockets expect big things this fall. They have a good first team and barring· injuries could be in the thick of things. Cepa and Shroeder .good pass combo.
HUGHES- Sept. 13 Friday 8 P.M. at Sycamore Stadfum •.. Has 15 tegulars comini back with a 195' lb. line average. Have great speed and is expected to give Woodward a tu ssel for the Public League T'itle. Walker and Carpenter two great. backs.
PURCELL- Oct. 20 Sunday·s P.M. at X.U. Stadium (2nd·Game) with ·an outstanding Junior and senior ·class, Purcell is expected to be on top once again. Probably the best speed ~n the league. seen ranked in the ·top ten many times. This should be Purcell~s year. ·
DAYTON CHAMINADE - Sept. 20 Priday 8 P.M. ... one of the three best football teams year in and year out in Dayton. Has great football tradition. Has been in ·top ten. many times in the past 20 years. Expect· to have • very explosiv' offense and'tough defense.
ROGER BACON - Oct. 25 Friday 8 P.M. at Sycamore ..• Bacon coached by the master of football, Bron Bacevich, has great size and •peed. Bacon is expected to have one of its better teams this year. High atate· ranking in last 10 years,

LaSALLE - Oct. 4 Priday 8 P.M . . . . at Colerain: hard-nosed, and tough team to beat. Should have its best team and is expected to be in contention for the G.C.L. title.
ST .. XAVIER - Nov. 8 Friday 8 P.M. at Rea,ding •.. The team that has that great upset abilfty. Has one of the best defensive ball clubs in town. 16 starters back from last year.
