AN ITCH

We find refuge in magazines as an escape from our insipid, monotonous routines. Let’s now take a glimpse into the life of a woman who has lost all care for outside appearances. Tired of keeping up appearances, of always tidying and cleaning up, of being perfectly manicured, being ready to please. She is unapologetic, she is fed up, she is angry. She has boiled over. She might have gone a little crazy. Have we found her mid-episode? Maybe so. It’s a breath of fresh air.

We see her with her marigolds still on, a scarf that she’s fashioned into a skirt, stomping around the house in her big boots, choking on her headphone cable, rolling around on the floor. It’s appalling, but you can’t look away.
