The Wagner & Kong Cello and Piano Duo has been acclaimed for their sensitive and passionate artistry. Cellist Christoph Wagner hails from Germany, is the winner of numerous international awards, and has performed in prestigious venues around the world. Joanne Kong, pianist and faculty member at the University of Richmond, was awarded a fellowship from the American Academy of the Arts in Europe, and was Grand Prize Winner in the 1985 International Piano Recording Competition. One concertgoer wrote, “Christoph and Joanne come together with exquisite beauty.
