The music of ShoutHouse combines poetic hip-hop, complex grooves, high-octane vocals, and instrumental solos in a way that is entirely their own. Their core roster of a dozen artists, including an emcee, string section, dancers, and jazz soloists, redefine the boundaries of genre. ShoutHouse performances are energetic and soulful, showcasing each member's individual talents while also highlighting their collective chemistry, musical daring, and infectious camaraderie.
The ShoutHouse Musicians Collective is a group of talented musicians based in New York City. The brainchild of composer and multi-instrumentalist Will Healy, ShoutHouse grew out of his desire to bring together some of his favorite musicians in the New York music scene, regardless of genre or background, from Afrobeat band members to orchestral musician friends.
Led by composer/pianist Will Healy, their music “carves out a niche that is completely its own” (I Care if You Listen), including selections from their Cityscapes album.
