1 Clean your mug with warm soapy water, rinse and thoroughly air dry.
2 Use a lead pencil to lightly mark your design on the mug.
3 Using your pencil markings to guide you, draw/write your messages onto the ceramic mug using Glass & Porcelain Markers.
4 Wait a few hours for your markers to air dry on the mug.
5 Mix Glass & Ceramic Paint with water to make a light paint wash (roughly 1 part paint to 10 parts water) – a little goes a long way.
6 Gently apply paint wash to mug using a paint brush or sponge.
7 Set aside for 24 hours to dry completely.
8 To set the markers and paint for wear & tear and dishwasher use, the mug will need to be baked in an oven.
9 Set oven to 150 degrees C, once oven temperature has been reached, bake mug for 30 minutes, turn oven off and allow to cool before removing.
10 Done! The perfect Porcelain Mug for Dad is ready.
