From the editor Editorial issue14 - November 2017 Modellenland Magazine is a fresh, new submissionbased editorial publication that celebrates the true art of fashion and the emerging artists behind it.

Modellenland is a Free Belgian magazine but we accept also entries from other countries. Everybody can publish for free ,photographers, MUA, stylists, models, good amateur, students, semiprofessional, professional etc... The focus will not only be on fashion, but food, lifestyle, animals, landscapes, are also welkom.

Modellenland Magazine is a fashion, beauty, editorial and conceptual art magazine and will be published monthly. The goal is to show our submitters their portfolio worldwide to model and PR-agencies, and brand labels.

Cover Girl Ksenia Ocheredko (New York) Can you tell us a little about you? I am a New York based professional model, I work in both fashon and commercial fields. If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be? I am a very responsible person, sometimes out of measure, so when times are busy I can get really exhausted. I care too much and I am learning that sometimes you should just let things go. How did you start modeling? I had my very first shows and photoshoots in my hometown in the Far East of Russia. My first agency worked very closely with Asian agencies so I often used to travel to China for my first jobs as well, started building my portfolio there. What do you think of the work as a model? It is not as glamorous as it might seem, there are lots of ups-and-downs, models work with heat and cold, some shows start at 4 a.m., you get rejected by clients, you donâ€™t get to see your family as often, etc. But everything is worthy when you see the results on the pictures. What is your beauty regimen? I try to sleep enough hours! I think it is the most important fort he health. Then comes healthy eating (I donâ€™t eat meat but I kept fish in my diet), lots of vegetables, fresh juices. I work out 2-3 times per week, visit cosmetologist, I use quality products for my skin and hair. What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others? I am hardworking and I take my career very seriously. And always keep positive attitude. What are your plans for the future? I will keep modeling because it is a huge part of my life, I still do a lot of print but I am taking acting classes as well to get more opportinities in acting/TV fields. What are some of your favorite experiences so far? I enjoy working with camera, there is a very special emotional exchange between a model and a photographer, it is an incredible feeling when you are tired but happy after a long shoot. One of the things I really love about modeling is traveling the world, one of my strongest experience was to see Rome fort he first time when I flew in for a fashion show. There are new experiences every day in model life!

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling? Be ready to work hard! Believe in yourself because there will be always worse and better moments. Be good to others, make friends, create connections. What do you think of the magazine? I think the idea behind the magazine is just amazing -let talented people share their stories and get inspired by the experience of others in the industry! Je vous présente la première mini collection « FUTUR », d'Elie Valière de L'équipe Artistique Sebastian Professional France, mini série né du travail destiné à un concours. Elie Valière : J'ai voulu par l'utilisation de ces gammes chromatiques grises, acier, rappeler le métal des machines et créer, au travers d'une vision futuriste, presque transhumaniste, la femme, non pas de demain, mais d'après demain. Cette femme nouvelle, à la silhouette androgyne, se présente avec une allure presque mécanique. Les teintes dégradées de gris et de bleu métallique, servies par cette coupe stylisée, nous rappellent les casques des créatures robotiques aux formes humanoïdes des anciennes séries de science-fiction. The series is about the emotional contrasts of life. About happiness and sadness, about the joyful and painful moments one is confronted with. A young lady celebrates her birthday alone. When you look at the photographs you don't know who prepared the party. Was it a friend who has left the house or was it the lady herself? Blindfolded she enters the room. After taking off the blindfold she is so happy when she sees the decoration and the gift. Very excited she opens the birthday present, a wonderful diadem. She is so happy but at the same time she is very sad because she realizes her loneliness ... The viewer of the series becomes a kind of voyeur. In his imagination he is the one who decides if the lady is lucky with her situation, if the short story will have a happy ending or not.
