Directions Preheat oven to 325 degrees. 1. Combine cheese, apricots and nuts. Cut a small pocket in each breast. 2. Divide cheese/nut mixture and stuff into breast pockets. 3 Combine apricot preserves, soy sauce and mustard. Pour sauce over stuffed breasts. 4. Bake uncovered, basting as needed, until done. About 1 hour.

Pour into an ungreased casserole and sprinkle with cheese and chips. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes until cheese is bubbly.

Ingredients 2 medium ripe avocados, peeled and diced 2 T lime juice 1 can (15 oz.) whole kernel corn, drained 1 can (15 oz.) black beans, rinsed and drained 1 medium sweet red pepper, chopped 6 green onions, chopped 2 T minced fresh cilantro 3 garlic cloves, minced 2 T olive oil 1 teas. red wine vinegar ½ teaspoon salt ¼ teaspoon pepper Tortilla chips Directions In a large bowl, combine avocados and lime juice; let stand for 10 min. In another large bowl, combine the corn, beans, red pepper, onions, cilantro and garlic. In a small bowl, whisk the oil, vinegar, salt and pepper. Drizzle over corn mixture; toss to coat. Gently fold in the avocado mixture. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until chilled. Serve with tortilla chips.

Ingredients 1 lb. fresh green beans ¼ C real butter, not margarine. 2 medium lemons. Salt to taste. Directions 1. Snap off the stem end of the green beans. 2 Melt butter in a saute pan on low heat. Squeeze 2 lemons, straining out the pulp and seeds. 2. Carefully add the lemon juice to the melted butter. So while we stuck to American flag colors (with the addition of our favorite aqua blue), The Boat House is much more nautical than it is patriotic. Directions Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Butter a 9" x 13" baking dish.

Mix together the flour, oats, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the butter with a pastry cutter until it resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle half the mixture into the pan and pat lightly to pack it a little tight. Spoon strawberry preserves evenly over the surface, then use a dinner knife to carefully spread it around. Sprinkle the other half of the oat mixture over the top and pat lightly again.

Bake until light golden brown on top, about 30 to 40 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool in pan. When cool, cut into squares and serve. Yum!

Inspiration The inspiration for this collection came from one of our Moda reps, Stephanie Hove. She wrote: "Being a quilter and an Army wife, I’m always looking for military themed fabric, especially after my husband deployed to Afghanistan two years ago. Unfortunately, I have never found anything that was “rustic” enough for my soldier. I wanted a line that was traditional and relevant, but NOT novelty. I’ve always loved a burlap texture, and this fabric brings in that look without the rough feel. The silhouettes are powerful and strong. The patches provide authenticity. The words, hopefully, invoke patriotism."
