POINTS visual arts is an exhibition organized by a group of Independent Egyptian Artists whose works have extremely participated in the development of contemporary formative movement in Egypt, Those artists are such bright flashing points with individual momentous artistic experiments . Their works traveled around several local and international exhibitions, POINTS comes in its 3rd version to put the spotlight on a group of 90th formative artists whose works varies in several artistic fields, the exhibition aims at the convergence of these enlightened points in one place to enrich dialogue and cultural exchange with the coming generations. This exhibition is organized by EAN group that took the initiative in cooperation with Darb 1718 Contemporary Art and Culture Centre and the participation of Artist Omar Tosson. Aliaa Elgready

Born- Alexandria 1969 Studied History in Alexandria university while studying art in Alexandria Atelier with artist Farouk Wahbah. Aliaa started as an installation artist and she got awarded the foundation of the Egyptian Academy in Rome in 1993. in the start of the century Aliaa focused on community art and she confounded Gudran For Art and Development along side jewelry designing and theater acting. Recently Aliaa is experimenting with different styles and techniques of paintings. She exhibited her work in Egypt, Italy, Germany, Spain, Stockholm, France, New York, Jordan and Senegal. The thread that links Aliaa's wide range of work is that it always combines her interest in both Art and history. Also it explores the accumulative effect of time on nature through the patterns, colors and texture.

Eman Ezzat Eman was born in the Governorate of Kafr El Sheikh in 1972. She earned her PhD in the Philosophy of Art Education from Cairo University in 2012. She has been the principal curator of the Borollos International Symposium for Painting on Boats and Walls since its inception. Eman has held twelve solo exhibitions in the areas of graphics, painting and drawing. She has represented Egypt in numerous international graphic art biennials and triennials in Poland, Macedonia, the United States, Sarajevo, Taiwan, Slovenia, Spain, Yemen, Bulgaria, Austria, France and Italy. In 2013, she was selected by the International Organization for The art of Engraving in Krakow to represent the African continent in the First Graphics Exhibition held in the International Center for Graphics Arts in Poland. Eman received several awards through out her career, most notably an award from Egypt's International Graphic Arts Triennale in 2006 and several awards from Egypt's Youth Salon. Some of her works have been acquired by the Museums of Modern Art in Egypt, Poland and

Moataz El Safty He born in 1969 and working in Alexandria – Egypt, in 2005 till now he’s Curator and Arts Director at Atelier of Alexandria a group of artists and writers, 2007 Initiative and founded EAN group for international artistic cooperation, 2011 initiative and founded EAN egyptian artists network www.egyptartists.com, - 2014 Co-curator with Dr. Oriano Mabellini in Image of the world IMAGO MUNDI’ project, for Egyptian contemporary arts in Benetton museum-Italy. Also he did this event in Nigeria, Liberia, Yemen, Oman, Kuwait and Iraq. 2014 Curator of POINTS 2 international exhibition for visual arts, in Goethe institute Alexandria , 2012 he is Co Founder and Co curator with Reem Hassan in AAW international artists workshop for young artists, He is organizer of Atelier of Alexandria at BJCEM biennale for young artist from Europe and Mediterranean, 2006 and 2008 he is Co Founder and Co curator with Reem Hassan in AAW international artists workshop, from 2006 till 2012, also Curator of AAW international youth salon, in 2006 / 2007 he’s co-curator of atelier of Alexandria in RAMI workshop with ECM – Marseille, SHAMS – Beirut, Azzurro Studio – Milan.

Nazir Tanbouli Born in 1971, British Egyptian Artist based in London. Nazir spent the first 30 years in Egypt . He studied Expressive Art as formal education at Alexandria University for five years and went on to exhibit widely in Egypt and abroad, and also to begin a career as a mural painter.Tanbouli moved from Alexandria to the UK and completed an MA in Fine Art Printmaking at Camberwell College of Arts, London, focusing on screen printing and book art. He continues to work in drawing, painting, book art and mural. Tanbouli is currently having a long painting residency Alexandria, re-examining Egyptian society after 15 years of absence.
