Here’s what has happened in the last month and what’s to come! I was a little bit tied up with other obligations, helping the boy baseball team this spring etc. The real estate Market has been really slow currently but we are still having some properties exchanging hands at the right prices in 2024. A mix of high interest rates and elevated prices has been extremely challenging for most folks. It’s really just part of the real estate cycle. “The sky is not falling real estate wise” we are kind of feeling the after effects of the crazy price increases post covid. At the end of the 2023 I was nominated by a nationally recognized magazine based on sales volume for Southeastern Utah. Thought it was a cool opportunity so I said sure! Working in Real estate has been an absolute grind. With the new lawsuits playing out, it will probably be even more challenging for some.
For others it won’t make any difference. Living off a commission only basis has really made me appreciate all the other real estate professionals and subcontractors who don’t have a steady 9-5 and those that work hard for what they take home, they know they have to save for a rainy day. Prices are the highest they’ve been for 40 years but if you looking to buy a home in the next coming months/years, hang in there - the right deal with come up eventually! Looking forward to an incredibly optimistic rest of 2024!
