Destination Washington County Star Trail
Each club shares with everyone what events they have going on, for example: Bayport Pathfinders have “Hair of the Dog” rally on New Year’s Day. East Cottage Grove does a “Dust ‘em Off” antique/swap meet around the first weekend of January. Hastings does a vintage show and ride in February, and Stillwater does a “The Older the Better” vintage show at the beginning of Feb. All the events draw in crowds from all around the state.
During the summer months we have clubs join in on the local town events like parades. All summer, Lakeville will do a “Drive and Dine” which helps keep in touch with members. All the clubs do a Christmas party for their members, along with a landowner appreciation event of some sort.

Then there is the safety training that a lot of our clubs do, and they train roughly 250-350 kids each season. Hats off to all that do the training, and a big thank you to all who volunteer their time in setting up trails, maintaining the trails, and yes, we must take down the trails at the end of season.
So, if you want to ride a sled but don’t feel like driving hours north, check out your own backyard. Our clubs do a good job in giving you a memorable weekend.
