APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID In order to maximize your financial aid opportunities and find out what type of award you qualify for, keep these steps in mind: 1 / APPLY FOR ADMISSION TO MNU You’ll want to complete your MNU Application for Admission as soon as possible. Both federal and state financial assistance require that you be accepted at MNU before we can finalize your financial aid. You can apply at www.mnu.edu/apply.

2 / FILL OUT THE FAFSA You can download income information directly from the IRS into the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa. ed.gov. This can be completed after October 1, 2016 for the 201718 school year. You will use your 2015 tax return to complete the FAFSA. Contact the financial aid office if you need any assistance > FSA ID: The system requires an FSA ID—a username and password. Your FSA ID identifies you as someone who has the right to access your own personal information for the FAFSA. To generate your username and password, please visit the FSA ID website now.

3 / FILE FEDERAL INCOME TAXES Beginning with the 2017-18 school year, you will use your tax return from two years prior. So, for the 2017-18 FAFSA, you will use your 2015 tax return. On your FAFSA, make sure and use MNU’s school code: 007032.
