Bowling

Our chapter continues to have several very active bowling groups who meet weekly to gather for bowling, food, and friendship. If you are interested in joining one, please call or email us. If there is not a group near your area, we're happy to get the word out to create a new one. All skill levels are welcome, and no commitment is required. Get out and roll away the winter blues today!

Trapshooting

As the trapshooting season approaches, MNPVA seeks all those interested in participating or volunteering. Team members typically shoot once per week along with competition events throughout the season. Novice to expert welcomed! If trapshooting is new to you, many experienced members are happy to help you try it out.

In addition to our shooting season, our chapter plans to do trapshooting fun shoots this summer. Stay tuned for details in the spring.

Our chapter continues to maintain a set of season tickets for Twins, Vikings, and Wild teams. Call or email us today if you'd like to attend a game.

Wheelchair Bowling Challenge

A big thank you to McPete's Sports Bar and Lanes in Big Lake, MN, and our team of volunteers, for helping to make our first Wheelchair Bowling Challenge Event a huge success. We even had a few brave souls who dared to bowl from a wheelchair! Stay tuned next year for a repeat performance!

Member Small Business Center

Calling all members owning a small business! We'd like list your business in our directory. Please send us your business name, location, phone, and brief description so members can connect with members!

Vehicle Donations

Occasionally, our chapter is the recipient of an adapted, donated used vehicle. If you are a member with a need for a vehicle, please send a letter of request for consideration, outlining the need and circumstances. Mail your request to our office or email us at office@mnpva.org.

National Salute to Veteran Patients

The week of Feb 14 each year is designated as National Salute to Veteran Patients. MNPVA wants to take this time to pay tribute to our nation's veterans and encourage others to volunteer their time.

The Minneapolis VA has compiled a video featuring multiple veteran service organizations, including MNPVA, and will be broadcasting this during the week.
