25 years of Masonite in Chile This quarter marked 25 years since the Masonite brand arrived in Chile. It all started as a project in 1998, with the challenge of producing doorskins with a plant in the city of Cabrero and with about 100 people, which after 25 years became a company with four industrial plants located in three regions and with around 650 people working in the doors and door components business. It has been a time of learning, growth and challenges. New people have joined bringing new experiences, we enjoy the cultural richness of various countries in the region and we face the permanent challenge of innovating in our products or processes to satisfy our customers. In these 25 years we have been nourished by many experiences and skills, diverse strategies and points of view, different operating and business models. The common denominator for success and facing the various challenges we have overcome, has always been the ability to look together to the future in search of the common good, regardless of the area or place where we work, or the particular interests of a person or a team, leading us to consolidate the vision of a single company., a single Masonite.

Our company in the world is approaching 100 years, and in Chile we begin the path to another 25 years of presence in the country, in which we will face challenges and opportunities to continue positioning ourselves in the region. We have learned to work together, we have managed to help people walk through walls and we want to be the best supplier of doors, but what will really allow us to Cross the Threshold, will be to consolidate our work as a single Team at Masonite Chile. This 2024 we are going for more!!

We continue to increase our employees' engagement to our organization

A sustained advance over time, both in participation and results, is reflected in the engagement survey that allows us to know what our employees think about the work of those who exercise leadership within our company. Aware of the importance of knowing the opinion of our employees in relation to the leadership style within our organization and of helping our leaders to better understand the needs of those who make up their teams, we performed our 2023 Employee Engagement Survey in all Masonite plants around the world. An initiative that makes us proud as a company, seeing that we have been improving year after year and in a sustained way, both in terms of participation and the results of the survey themselves, which motivates us to continue working along the same lines, as well as delving into the content and action plans to improve the level of commitment in each of our areas. In relation to Chile, it is a great satisfaction that our plants reflect the same progress as the entire company, also improving in both areas and even increasing the global average. Therefore, our challenge is to maintain these results in 2024, an objective for which we are working on the design of action plans whose implementation will begin once the holiday period is over.

Plant Management Voices Leonardo Cid, Cabrero Plants Manager. "Working with people, listening to their opinions and considering them when making decisions, contributes to good results. This is reflected in the fact that we have been growing steadily. This is how, on this opportunnity, the Cutstock Plant achieved one of the highest scores in the last four years. We hope to continue to maintain these results and for this our work will be focused on: continuing to develop people and recognizing what they do."

Jorge Osorio, Chillán Plant Manager. "The most remarkable thing about the survey is that the result of our plant was out of 4, allowing us to be among the top 11 globally. Supervisors have a good culture of relationships with people, good contact and communication, which makes our employees feel close, with the freedom to talk and raise their concerns. Two points that we have been working on, since last year, is to recognize the work of our employees along with promoting good treatment and trust among them in order to develop good teamwork."

Pablo Salas, Santiago Plant Manager. "For a couple of years we have been working with the Kaisen methodology, which has allowed us to improve the gaps that our employees said existed within our organization. This made it possible to define tasks to work on engagement and obtain better results in the survey. We want to repeat this process so that this progress is maintained over time, as well as continuing with actions that have been well received, including recognizing the work done by our employees and carrying out interviews that allow us to get to know them on a more personal level".

In November

Safety took over the agenda of all our plants For a week and with a rich program we breathed and lived prevention and self-care as one team. It was an intense week that took place in each of our plants between November 6th and 10th. Under the slogan "Keep everyone and yourself safe", a rich program of activities was performed that allowed us to reach all corners of each of our operations. The activities began on Monday, November 6 with the official launch of the week led by the respective managers of each plant who motivated them to actively participate in the plan developed. This year, for the first time, an interdisciplinary team was defined in each unit with representatives from different areas who, together with those in charge of safety, planned each stage of the program. Active breaks in the workplaces, preventive medical health operations, talks on stress management, revisions of emergency plans and execution of drills, were part of the initiatives executed. They were joined by contests with trivia in which the knowledge of the employees was tested, contests for family members and ceremonies to reward those who have stood out as promoters of safety in Masonite. The symbol of our key was present throughout the days accompanying from selfie frames or keys that circulated through different areas, as well as

at doors where each worker expressed their desire for safety and the highlight: the human key that Masonite employees put together in Santiago, Cabrero and Chillán to represent their commitment to this value that is fundamental for everyone. Without a doubt, it was a "round" week where safety was the protagonist and reminded us of the importance of worrying and taking care of each other permanently.

Yéssica Acuña, Compensation Specialist and ESG Champion. She said that it was different this year, because working groups were set up where there were people from all areas, which made it much more dynamic. There was also more participation and enthusiasm from our employees, so I think the goal was largely achieved.

Federico Stevenson, EHS Specialist, Cabrero Plants. The goals we set ourselves were met and having a diverse team in charge was very positive. We seek to provide new approaches and create participation. We got very good results and there was very good feedback from our employees.

Orlando Núñez, EHS Specialist, Santiago Plant. This year there were more massive activities that required a lot of effort to reach everyone so that everyone could experience this milestone of Safety, which was more than achieved. Our plant combines many factors of manual work and machinery; therefore, it is very diverse in terms of risks and these activities help us to strengthen preventive work. We take to social media

We developed an intense commercial campaign to publicize our brand and main products Marketing management has allowed us to spread the benefits of our solutions and consolidate an interesting community of potential consumers that we want to continue growing During this second half of the year, our commercial area has focused on the development of our social networks and especially the development of Instagram. Thanks to that work, we managed to go from 2,000 followers at the beginning of July to more than 5,000 followers in mid-December. We did this by creating content of interest to our clients in order to attract them and form a large community around our brand and products.

Working with influencers

In-house development

In July, we promoted the sale of our new Barn Door Kit in along with @mama_chasquilla reaching 340 thousand reproductions and 900 new followers to our account. In their reel we show how easy and practical it is to install this barn style door thanks to the included accessories, in addition to the remarkable savings in space and style that our Barn Door adds to your home. In November, we boosted our brand together with @decobarriles reaching 84 thousand views and 700 new followers to our account. In their reel we invite your community to participate in a contest where we raffle the renovation of an exterior door for the winner's home.

In addition to collaborative content with influencers, we have opted for our own development. This is how in October we began to promote with reels our HDF doors for Interior and the Pine doors of Protected Access, reels that have reached 170 thousand streaming and 1,200 new followers to our account. We invite you to follow us on our Instagram @ masonite_chile, and become Masonite Influencers, sharing our posts with your family and friends to continue building our community.

We celebrate the DEI Summit valuing the difference throughout our company The annual summit provided an opportunity to analyze the role of our organization in the important task of building a more inclusive environment. Committed to building a culture that values difference, fosters inclusion, and promotes collaboration, between October 3 and 12, we once again held our Annual Global Diversity Summit. On this occasion, we met under the theme "Shaping the Future: Our Roles in Building an Inclusive Environment". This important meeting gave us the opportunity to make known our reality in this area. In this way, we shared with our peers the results of the Summit DEI 2023 survey, answered by 250 of our employees, who stated that what made them feel included in our company was to be recognized, as well as to be able to express their opinion and be heard.

Likewise, we presented about the workshops held in all our plants with the purpose of raising awareness about this issue, which had a high turnout and were highlighted as one of the initiatives that must be performed to increase inclusion in Masonite Chile. Our participation in the summit also included the valuable testimonies of some of our employees who, due to their realities and life stories, are an example of the diversity, equity and inclusion that we want to promote in our organization. And precisely for this reason, in the celebration of DEI Week, the corporate made different initiatives available to all our plants.

Testimonies from participants in SUMMIT DEI Daniel Quevedo, 67 years old, Category 3 Operator, Cabrero Plants. "Working with young people is a great opportunity that allows them to learn from you and we, the elders, get feedback from their knowledge and technological mastery.

Lileni Albornoz, 27 years old, Production Assistant, Santiago Plant. "Masonite gives the opportunity to all of us, regardless of our age and nationality, in my case I’m Venezuelan. It is my first work experience in a company, and it has opened doors for me, allowing me to learn a lot."

Franco Ramírez, Production Operator, Chillán Plant. "I was always an athletic and cooperative person before the health problems that left me with a physical disability. In all this time, I have had the fundamental support of my family, my work colleagues and the company. I always talk about the Masonite family, because they have always cared about me." Diana Gerges, Notification Assistant, Santiago Plant. "I arrived in this country four years ago and I've been in Masonite for two years. I came here to seek personal improvement and help the family. Here in the company, I have good and beautiful friendships. I thought this could not be achieved, but it has been possible. I have always felt welcomed and appreciated." Cultural Pillars

We already have winners! "Crossing the Threshold" was the pillar that stood out during the fourth quarter of 2023. Within the framework of our recognition program, the "Wanted" campaign has been the protagonist to highlight and identify our cultural pillars among the employees of Masonite Chile plants.

Through a campaign that invited our employees to join this initiative, we started the search. Then, we moved on to the nomination process, which had the participation of our four plants.

During the last few months, it was the turn of the "Crossing the Threshold" pillar, which can show itself in different ways and has four key actions: • Promote Innovation • Challenge the status quo via continuous improvement • Focuses on customer experience • Their actions orient them towards the future

Finally, by popular vote, those who embodied the pillar "Crossing the Threshold" day by day were elected.

Amalia and Mateo González: talented siblings who are making a name for themselves in regional sports

In a short time, the two sons of Álvaro González, Deputy Manager of Supply Chain, have shown remarkable talent with outstanding triumphs in their respective passions: artistic and rhythmic gymnastics, as well as mountain biking. In several instances, it has been shown that in Masonite sport is lived to the fullest. This is reflected by the children of our employees, as is the case of the siblings Amalia (6 years old) and Mateo (5 years old), Álvaro's children, who, despite their young age, have positioned themselves as future sports promises in our region. In the case of Amalia, who is on second grade, she has been practicing artistic and rhythmic gymnastics for a year at her school in Concepción city, and this summer, she will attend the school of the Club Gimnasia Rítmica Concepción, to continue spinning joyfully on stage. "This year I want to learn new routines, with new songs. What I like the most is doing pirouettes and seeing my family supporting me," Amalia said . On the other hand, Mateo, after practicing karate, immersed himself in the world of bicycles, joining the Pequeños sobre Ruedas school. Leaders of Masonite Chile met to outline the 2024 business strategy In the face of the challenges that the company has, looking to the future, our General Manager, Felipe Celis, convened more than 50 leaders and professionals of our company, as a representative group, to participate in the first joint session that seeks to outline what the business strategy in Chile will be in 2024 and the main challenges and initiatives that must be addressed in this period. This session was held online in mid-December and is one of the final stages of the work that the CLT, led by our General Manager, has been developing since the middle of this year, with the purpose of designing and implementing a new business strategy for Masonite Chile, with a focus on the growth of our profitability. considering this challenging 2024. The need to have a strategy and a solid tool to control it is also due to the commitment made by Felipe last September in Tampa, when he presented the growth ideas for Chile to the CEO of Masonite, Howard Heckes.

"The first thing we're working on is becoming a single team with what that implies. But this objective is the beginning of a larger one that contains a complete strategic planning, defining a map, focuses and strategic objectives," he said.

The solidarity of our employees was manifested this Christmas With many initiatives, the different Masonite plants developed, during the month of December, activities to help communities near their operations. This is how Planta Santiago created an internal campaign with the purpose of benefiting 130 children from the Calvo Mackenna Hospital, San Juan Hospital, making good wishes cards, collecting toys, coloring books and colored pencils. Meanwhile, from Chillán and Cabrero Plants, traditional holiday cake and juices were delivered as part of Christmas bags for elders of the Monte Águila Railway Cooperative neighborhood council, as well as Christmas sweets and baskets for children and families of the students of the Los Caulles rural school.
