Sensibiliser à notre patrimoine

« Notre musée se voit proposer l’achat d’une œuvre capitale sur le plan de sa qualité artistique aussi bien que sur celui de son importance historique pour le Luxembourg. Intitulé Vue sur le château de Larochette, le tableau en question a été réalisé en 1848 par un des peintres les plus connus de son temps, Barend Cornelis Koekkoek (1803-1862). Son commanditaire n’est autre que le Roi des Pays-Bas et Grand-Duc de Luxembourg, Guillaume II (1840-1849), le Grand-Duc qui accorde le self-government aux Luxembourgeois après le Traité de Londres de 1839.

L’œuvre fait partie d’un cycle de grands paysages luxembourgeois que Guillaume II commande suite à un voyage au Luxembourg en 1845 auquel il avait invité le peintre.

Sur les huit tableaux réalisés, seuls quatre sont encore aujourd’hui recensés.

L’investissement nécessaire dépasse cependant de loin le budget d’acquisition du musée. C’est pourquoi nous lançons un appel au mécénat participatif dans le cadre d’une action de crowdfunding, convaincus que le public prendra la mesure de cet enjeu national et nous soutiendra dans notre effort d’acquisition.

Le Fonds culturel national (FOCUNA), partenaire phare de cette action de souscription organisée avec le précieux concours des Amis des Musées d’Art et d’Histoire, Luxembourg asbl et de l’Ambassade des Pays-Bas au Luxembourg, sert de plate-forme pour recueillir les fonds et émettre un certificat d’abattement fiscal pour tout don égal ou supérieur à 50 €. Les promesses de don peuvent être simplement enregistrées sur le portail www.mnha.lu.

L’usager reçoit d’abord une réponse automatique attestant sa promesse de don avant d’être invité par le FOCUNA à procéder au virement.

Virement bancaire possible: si le FOCUNA recommande d’enregistrer sa promesse de don en ligne, il est aussi possible d’effectuer un virement avec la mention KOEKKOEK MNHA sur le compte de l’institution LU24 0019 4655 0203 7000 à la banque BCEE, Luxembourg.

Chaque donateur identifié sera invité à une réception à l’issue de la campagne. La liste des donateurs non anonymes sera affichée au musée et publiée sur notre site ainsi que dans notre MUSEOMAG.

Il n’y a pas de virement minimum et les dons spontanés en nature sont possibles; une urne est installée à cet effet dans la salle du musée où se trouve exposé le tableau.

50 € Pour toute souscription à partir de 50 €, le donateur bénéficie d’un certificat d’abattement fiscal.

200 € Pour toute souscription à partir de 200 €, le MNHA offre de surcroît de surcroît un laisser-passer valable pour deux personnes pendant deux ans garantissant l’accès libre à nos deux musées (MNHA et Musée Dräi Eechelen).

En tant qu’entreprise Mécénat d’entreprise (lié à des avantages*): 10.000 € minimum. (* e. a. mise à disposition d’une salle pour organiser une réception privée, visite guidée du musée incluse - contacter le musée pour plus d’informations : 47 93 30-399).

Une urne est installée dans la salle d’Arts Anciens, juste à côté de l’œuvre de Koekkoek, afin d’encourager des dons spontanés.

„Unserem Museum wurde ein Werk zum Kauf angeboten, das in künstlerischer wie in historischer Hinsicht von herausragender Bedeutung für Luxemburg ist. Das Gemälde mit dem Titel „Luxemburgische Landschaft mit Burgruine Fels (Larochette)“ wurde 1848 von einem der bekanntesten Maler seiner Zeit, Barend Cornelis Koekkoek (1803-1862), geschaffen. Der Auftraggeber war kein geringerer als der König der Niederlande und Großherzog von Luxemburg, Wilhelm II. von Oranien-Nassau (1840-1849), jener Großherzog, der den Luxemburgern nach dem Londoner Vertrag von 1839 die Selbstverwaltung gewährte.

Das Werk gehört zu einem Zyklus großer luxemburgischer Landschaften, die Wilhelm II. in Auftrag gab, nach einer Luxemburg-Reise im Jahr 1845 zu der er den Künstler eingeladen hatte. Heute sind nur noch vier der acht Gemälde erhalten.

Es bietet sich hier also eine einzigartige Gelegenheit, eine romantische luxemburgische Landschaft in die staatlichen Sammlungen aufzunehmen, die von einem der größten Landschaftsmaler seiner Epoche geschaffen wurde, ein Werk von außerordentlicher künstlerischer Qualität und historischer Bedeutung.

Die erforderliche Investition übersteigt jedoch bei weitem das Ankaufsbudget des Museums. Deshalb starten wir einen Aufruf zur Kulturförderung im Rahmen einer CrowdfundingAktion, in der Überzeugung, dass das Publikum die nationale Bedeutung dieser Maßnahme ermisst und uns in unseren Ankaufsbemühungen unterstützt. Zeichnungsmodalitäten und Vorteile

Für alle Spenden ab 50 € erhält der Spender eine Bescheinigung über die steuerliche Abzugsfähigkeit.

200 € Der Nationale Kulturfonds (FOCUNA), Leitpartner dieser Spendenaktion die vom Verein der Freunde der Kunstund Geschichtsmuseen, Luxemburg und der Botschaft der Niederlande in Luxemburg begleitet wird, dient als Spendenplattform und stellt Bescheinigungen zur steuerlichen Abzugsfähigkeit für jede Spende von 50 € oder mehr aus. Alle Spendenversprechen können ganz einfach online registriert werden unter www.mnha.lu.

Der Nutzer erhält eine Bestätigungsmail (automatische Antwort) und wird dann aufgefordert, die Überweisung der angegebenen Spende zu tätigen.

Banküberweisung möglich: obwohl der FOCUNA das digitale Spendenversprechen über www.mnha.lu bevorzugt, kann die Spende auch per Banküberweisung geleistet werden unter der Kontonummer LU24 0019 4655 0203 7000 – Bank: BCEE, Luxemburg.

Die Überweisung ist mit dem Vermerk KOEKKOEK MNHA zu versehen.

Nach Beendigung der Kampagne wird jeder Mäzen zu einem Empfang eingeladen. Die Spender, die nicht anonym bleiben möchten, werden in einer Liste aufgenommen, die im Museum ausgehängt und auf unserer Webseite sowie in unserem MUSEOMAG veröffentlicht wird.

Für alle Spenden ab 200 € erhält der Spender zusätzlich noch einen Passierschein mit freiem Eintritt über zwei Jahre für zwei Personen in unsere beiden Museen (MNHA und Musée Dräi Eechelen).

“Our museum is being offered the opportunity to acquire a work whose artistic and historical qualities are of great importance for Luxembourg. Called View of the Larochette Castle, it was painted in 1848 by one of the most famous artists of the time, Barend Cornelis Koekkoek (1803-1862).

The work was commissioned by none less than the King of the Netherlands and Grand Duke of Luxembourg, William II (1840-1849), the Grand Duke who granted Luxembourgers their self-government after the London Treaty of 1839.

The painting is part of a cycle of great Luxembourgish landscapes that Guillaume II commissioned following a journey to Luxembourg in 1845, for which he had invited the painter. Of the eight paintings that were made, only four are presently accounted for.

Here, then, is a unique opportunity to enrich our national collections with a romantic Luxembourgish landscape by one of the greatest landscapists of his time, a work of exceptional artistic and historical value.

The investment needed is far too large for the museum’s acquisition budget. This is why we are launching this fundraising appeal within the framework of a crowdfunding campaign. We firmly believe that the public will acknowledge the importance of this national challenge and support us in our endeavour to acquire the painting.

Subscription modalities & benefits Let us come together: every cent counts!

The National Cultural Fund (FOCUNA), flagship partner of this subscription campaign organized with the precious support of the The Friends of Art and History Museums Luxembourg asbl and the Embassy of the Netherlands in Luxembourg, will serve as a platform for the collection of funds and emit a certificate for tax deduction for all donations of 50€ and more. The registration of all pledges to donate should be made online under www.mnha.lu. The user then receives an automatic email reply confirming the pledge for the bank transfer of the pledged amount.

Bank transfer possible: though FOCUNA recommends the online registration of your pledge (www.mnha.lu), it is also possible to make a classical bank transfer to the following recipient’s account number LU24 0019 4655 0203 7000 – bank: BCEE, Luxembourg. There is no minimum amount and all spontaneous donation are encouraged: in the Early Art room, where the Koekkoek’s work is currently on display, the MNHA installed a donation box.

Koekkoek and the Luxembourgish landscape organized in 2013 at the MNHA, will give a lecture within the framework of this campaign; Date: 29th September 2016 at 6 p.m. in presence of: Her Royal Highness the Hereditary Grand Duchess of Luxembourg.
