2021 Noteworthy Recognition Bruce Dokkebakken presents Ellis Holl of Kensington the 2021 Career Service Award. Ellis has been involved with DHIA as a member, Field Tech, and Delegate. He never missing a meeting and we are all better for it! He still handles a goat herd for us. Ellis always has a can-do attitude and was an example of how to successfully deal with change. Dave Susag retired from Wabasha County and moved to Battle Lake. He has been busy fishing for herds as well as fish. Dave has brought great DHIA service to many farms in many areas resulting in the 2020 Career Service Award. He also has served as a trainer and recruiter of new Field Techs, as well as an innovator in creating ways and devices to make things work better on farm on sample day. 16 year Dairy Comp support specialist Gabe Gieske receives the Career Service Award from DHIA President Dave Scapanski. Gabe won the award a few years back and we were finally able to hold a meeting to present it. Gabe’s patience and dedication were a blessing to us all.
