Editor’s Note Every day, the photography staff at the Minnesota Daily brings its readers slices of art, culture, news and sports. At midnight April 10, eight photographers left the Daily offices and fanned out across the Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses to document 24 hours in the lives of those who attend class, make their living and spend their days on and near the University of Minnesota campus.

Position: Multimedia Editor Major: Journalism Year: Junior Favorite Photo Assignment: This special issue. Spending the whole day shooting my favorite places on campus with little sleep was exhilirating. Having it end with a chaotic celebration in Dinkytown is something I’ll never forget.

Position: Staff Videographer Major: Economics Year: Junior Favorite Video Assignment: I loved making a video about theater students creating new work over 24-hours (like us) because I got to see the unique process and their passion for their craft in action.
