Codsall Community High School’ssixth form is one of the highest achieving sixth forms in Staffordshireand students are proud of their achievements, continuously striving to fulfil their potential, whether that is personally or academically.

Thereare avariety of excellent opportunities for students to participate in, providing abroad balanceofchallenging and successful experiences which give crucial stepping stones for life beyond Key Stage 5.

Vice Student President Aryan believes the support he receives is one of the centre’sspecial qualities. He said: “Codsall High Sixth Form has always proved itself to be asafe space; aspace whereIcan feel accepted and understood.

“This sixth form creates a sense of belonging and for me that is irreplaceable and hardtofind.”

Headteacher Simon Maxfield believes the sixth form provides the perfect platform for students readying themselves for futurelife.

He added: “At Codsall Sixth Form we aim to educate the whole person and the young people who come to our sixth form arefantastic examples of the confident, selfless and hardworking people we aspire for them to be.”

Thereare always opportunities for students to take responsibility for their individual learning in order to increase their independence. This can be through enrichment wherestudents learnmoreabout their own capabilities within a different environment, or by taking responsibility in managing their time appropriately during free periods.

Student President Niroon endorses the opportunities Codsall Sixth Form Centreoffers its students. “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Codsall Sixth Form, especially in my role as Sixth Form Student President.

“I have developed not only my academic skills, but also my personal skills, preparing me for the world ahead of me.

“ThereisnowhereIwould have rather spent my final years in formal education, and Ican only give credit to the staff, and the students Ihave spent my time with herefor that.”

Head of Sixth Form Mrs E Mayor is proud of the centre. She added: “Life at Codsall Sixth Form is exciting, challenging, evolving and ultimately very rewarding.

“Weoffer afantastic curriculum, teaching and support to our students and areproud of what we have to offer.”
