The building’s structure and architectural proportions respond both to its internal uses and external environmental factors. The articulation of the design responds to the immediate and broader urban fabric of Wollongong City Centre through considered form, modulation and sensitive materiality. A highly detailed and textured brickwork grain has been applied to the podium, reflecting the use of brickwork in the locality and showcasing the buildings bespoke craftsmanship. The modulation of the brick colonnade, coupled with the recessive entry provide a simple solution to achieving a strong visual connection between Queen Street and the entry lobby. The podium forms a base to the tower which aligns with the height and proportions of the adjoining heritage building along Crown Street .

Dark Scheme This scheme has a broody temperament which is intent on making a contemporary statement. It enhances a balance between Sophistication and Restraint.
