FIBERGLASS REINFORCED POLYESTER – FRP FRP is a composite material made of thermosetting polyester resins and continuous glass fibers as reinforcement. The resin matrix ensures a high resistance to corrosion while the glass fibers confer a high mechanical resistance. The chemical and mechanical characteristics make these products suitable for a wide range of applications. The properties of this material allow these products to be installed in environments where water, corrosive substances and humidity are constantly present and that are unbearable for traditional metal ones. The long-life cycle of these products and the new experimenting recycling possibility of composite materials reduces considerably its proper Carbon Footprint.

The resins are thermosetting and therefore if exposed to medium-high temperatures they do not soften.
