ABOUT US Mothers’ Milk Bank of North Texas, MMBNT, is a nonprofit organization with a mission to improve the health and survival of infants through breastfeeding advocacy and the safe, equitable provision of pasteurized donor human milk.

Located in southwest Fort Worth, MMBNT dispenses more than 500,000 ounces of pasteurized donor human milk per year to North Texas NICUs and medically fragile babies at home.

Before donating, mothers are thoroughly screened and tested for HIV, HTLV, Hepatitis and Syphilis.

Numerous safeguards are in place to protect the quality of every bottle processed, including pasteurization and third-party testing.

Becoming a donor requires 3 easy steps: 1. Call 817-810-0071 to complete a short phone interview.

2. Complete a medical history questionnaire.

3. Get a free, non-fasting blood test.

When a mother can’t provide breastmilk for her baby, donor milk is the best alternative for premature and fragile babies.

Immunological properties in breastmilk prevent complications such as nectrotizing enterocolitis (NEC) and enhance survivability.
