Interviewed by Elie for SPIRE Photos by Adam Ng mb3kPhoto Models Website:

Elie: What nationality are you? Natasha: Half Portuguese and half Russian and German. Elie: Best pick up like you’ve heard? Natasha: My boys over there bet that I wouldn’t be able to start a conversation with the most beautiful girl in the room. Want to buy some drinks with their money? Elie: What would you wear to seduce a man? Natasha: I can’t give away my little secrets. Elie: What’s the perfect date if someone was to take you out? Natasha: Something intriguing and different would be fun; like a horse carriage ride combined with something sexy to do in the mountains and maybe an amusement park all to ourselves all lit up at night. Elie: Have you ever made the first move on a guy? Natasha: I don’t think I’ve ever had the chance, men always beat me to it. Elie: What does it feel like when you see yourself featured in a magazine? Natasha: Feels exciting! Elie: How do you maintain that amazing body? Natasha: I’m in love with sausage mcmuffins. I can eat whatever I want as long as I have a good cardio routine. Elie: What’s your sexiest feature? Natasha: I’d say my eyes, because I can talk to you without saying a word. Elie: Where do you think men go wrong with women? Natasha: How they can’t just say how they feel, they think women want that bad boy Mister I don’t have a heart. Really a woman just wants a loving man that they know they can trust and can be there, no games, just tell you the way it is... not what they think you want to hear. Elie: One bedroom tip for men? Natasha: Know how to use your tongue!

TEN REASONS Why it’s Tough Being a Guy If you work too hard, there is never any time for her. If you don't work enough, you're a good-for-nothing bum.

If you buy her flowers, you're after something. If you don't, you're not thoughtful.

If she has a boring repetitive job with low pay, it's exploitation. If you have a boring repetitive job with low pay, you should get off your butt and find something better.

If you're proud of your achievements, you're an egotist. If you're not, you're not ambitious.

If you get a promotion ahead of her, it's favoritism. If she gets a job ahead of you, it's equal opportunity. If you try to keep yourself in shape, you're vain. If you don't, you're a slob. If you ask her to do something she doesn't enjoy, that's domination. If she asks you, it's a favor.

If you make a decision without consulting her, you're a chauvinist. If she makes a decision without consulting you, she's a liberated woman. If you cry, you're a wimp. If you don't, you're insensitive. If she has a headache, she's tired. If you have a headache, you don't love her anymore.

Some Simple FACTS about WOMEN Can Men every work out Women? That is a mystery I don’t think we will ever unfold.

Women do NOT want an honest answer to the question, 'How do I look?' Women especially love a bargain. The question of 'need' is irrelevant, so don't bother pointing it out. Anything on sale is fair game. Women never have anything to wear. Don't question the racks of clothes in the closet; you 'just don't understand'. Women need to cry. And they won't do it alone unless they

know you can hear them. Women will always ask questions that have no right answer, in an effort to trap you into feeling guilty. Women love to talk. Silence intimidates them and they feel a need to fill it, even if they have nothing to say. Women need to feel like there are people worse off than they are. That's why soap opera shows are so successful. Women are insecure about their weight, butt, and breast sizes. It's okay for women to dance with each other and not be gay. You don't see straight men dancing together.

Page 15 SPIRE

Women don't need sex as often as men do. This is because sex is more physical for men and more emotional for women. Just knowing that the man wants to have sex with them fulfills the emotional need.

SUCCESS: A successful man is one who makes more money than his wife can spend. A successful woman is one who can find such a man.

HAPPINESS: To be happy with a man you must understand him a lot and love him a little. To be happy with a woman you must love her a lot and not try to understand her at all.

STYLE: Men wake up as good-looking as they went to bed. Women somehow deteriorate during the night.

MARRIAGE EXPECTATIONS: A woman marries a man expecting he will change, but he doesn't. A man marries a woman expecting that she won't change and she does.

MONEY MANAGEMENT: A man is a person who will pay two dollars for a one dollar item he wants. A woman will pay one dollar for a two dollar item that she doesn't want.

MARRIAGE DECISIONS: Men marry because they are tired. Women marry because they are curious. Both are disappointed.

OFF MARRIAGE AND THE FUTURE: A woman worries about the future until she gets a husband. A man never worries about the future until he gets a wife. MEMORIES: A woman will the memory of wanted to A man memory of the didn't marry.

WHAT A WOMAN WANTS: Only two things are necessary to keep one's wife happy... - One is to let her think she is having her own way. - The other is to let her have it. LONGEVITY: Married men live longer than single men, but married men are a lot more willing to die.

THE BATTLE: A woman always has the last word in any argument. Anything a man says after that is the beginning of a new argument.

“It is a great feeling to know that many men want me”

Elie: What nationality are you? Erika: Puerto Rican. Elie: Describe yourself in one sentence? Erika: I am a natural born leader. Elie: What would you wear to seduce a man? Erika: My birthday suit of course! Elie: What does it feel like to have so many men want you? Erika: It is a great feeling to know that many men want me and appreciate the work I am putting out to the public. Elie: What’s the perfect date if someone was to take you out? Erika: The perfect date would consist of the guy and I going out to dinner and having great conversation then possibly going out to see a movie. I am a very easy woman to please, so I don’t need it to be fancy. All I want to do is have a nice time out. Elie: Have you ever made the first move on a guy? Erika: Yes, I definitely have. If I am attracted to a man and he is moving at a slow pace, I will just take charge and let him know what I am thinking/feeling. Elie: What do you have a weakness for? Erika: Bad Boys. Elie: The most important thing a guy must have? Erika: A man must have a job. I don’t need a man asking me to help him pay his bills because be for damn certain that I won’t be asking him to pay mine. Elie: How do you maintain that amazing body? Erika: I eat plenty of Spanish Rice and beans. (laughs)! But I also work out 3 times a week with plenty of cardio. Elie: What’s your sexiest feature? Erika: I am 100% positive that it is my eyes. I get plenty of compliments on other features but both men and women constantly compliment my eyes. Elie: Where do you think men go wrong with women? Erika: They don’t pay enough attention to how the woman feels. All women want men to do is listen to them and understand their feelings. They don’t want to be called a nag even if they are and they don’t want their feelings to be dismissed.

nterview chances such as this one happens only on rare occasions. I was given an opportunity to speak with Eddie Griffin and ask a couple of questions about the new show on VH1 and his current comedy tour. I was able to catch up with him on October 9-10, 2009 – while he was in Jacksonville, Florida, just before his performance at the Comedy Zone. Before we start the interview, I would like to do a little background

on Eddie’s life and how he became what he is today through hard work and sacrifice. Eddie Griffin was born in Kansas City, MO. At the age of 16 he would perform as a dancer during half-time shows for the Kansas City Chief’s. Always a funny guy amongst his friends, he was dared to perform at a local comedy club. This, of course meant doing a stand up comedy skit. Rumored has it that his performance was only to last roughly three minutes tops.

Eddie dazzled the crowed and wound up performing successfully for 45 minutes. That as a wake up call, sparked Griffin to begin a career in comedy. It was the comedy clubs around the country that gained his experience. It was a series of impromptu performances at the Comedy Store in Los Angeles where he gained the most attention. After performing for 2 months only (rumored), Griffin was chosen to open for Andrew Dice Clay at Madison Square Garden.

As time passed another opportunity presented itself. He was asked to participate on the HBO show, “Russell Simmons' Def Comedy Jam.” He gained a huge amount of exposure on this show. In 1991, in addition to “Def comedy jam” another door opened for Griffin. He gained a movie role in the film The Last Boy Scout (1991) and the rest is history. Since then he has starred in such movies as Coneheads "1993", and Jason's Lyric "1994". In 1996, Eddie went back to television. This time it was a sitcom “Malcom and Eddie”. This gave the public an opportunity to see Eddie on a regular basis. And this time, on a nationally televised show rather then a pay channel such as HBO. Then came yet another big call. This was an offer that so many only dream possible. He became the lead star in the film “Double Take” with co-star Orlando Jones which was released in 2001. Response was, unfortunately, not overwhelming. Griffin continued working with only the desire to stay in the public's eye. The following year he co-starred with Denzel Washington in the blockbuster film “John Q.” This was a blockbuster hit which grossed well over 102 million dollars world-wide. Clearly, this gave everyone yet another opportunity to see Eddie put on his acting hat along side Academy Award winning actor Denzel Washington. With the role in the film “John Q” Eddie gained respectable notice as a dramatic actor. Shortly thereafter, Eddie captured yet another main character role in the film “Undercover Brother” where he played the character, Anton Jackson. But it wasn't until the year 2007 when Eddie joined forces with another Eddie, legendary stand up comic and film superstar, Eddie Murphy. In this blockbuster film, “Norbit”, Griffin played the role as a pimp alongside actor Kat Williams. The film went on to collect a world wide gross of 159.3 million dollars which made it a certified comedy classic.

This success story is one that is worthy of mention. People sometimes forget how hard it is in order to achieve these levels of success. Eddie griffin is a perfect example of what true desire and drive takes in order to succeed. Yes, he is human and yes he has made mistakes along the way. But it was and still is his passion that keeps him going. Though this interview is brief, it is still a distinct pleasure to hear from Eddie and see where he is at this point in his life. Tony: Thank you again Eddie for giving me this opportunity to speak with you. Eddie: Thank you. Tony: Before heading into the questions, how have you been since the show released on vh1? Eddie: Good. Tony: Do you like the response “going for broke” has been getting? Eddie: Yes, the response has been great, people can relate, a lot of people are going through hard times and people love my mother. Tony: Looking back at the first episode, the world got the chance to see the real Eddie. You are a very generous person Eddie! Eddie: Yes I am. Tony: And do you get allot of that from your mom? Eddie: Hell no, (laughs). Tony: (laughs) In the opening episode, your mother has a very strong presence and vibe in the show. She seems like a really nice woman who wants to see you do well for yourself. Eddie: that is true. Tony: Well it’s a blessing to get the chance to see your relationship with her? Eddie: Aren't I lucky?

By Tony Leone for SPIRE

Tony: And right now you’re touring and doing a lot of stand-up? Eddie: Yes, you can see where i will be on

To this day, Eddie works on new projects and still manages to do what he does best, tour the country with his comedy act. With all of the trials, challenges and hard work, Eddie has been fortunate enough to be currently living the good life. It didn’t come easy and it wasn’t handed to him. Eddie Griffin had to work his way from rock bottom to where he is now. Along the way, he didn’t take no for an answer. He bucked all odds and came out the victor.

Tony: How's the tour been so far? Eddie: sold out! Tony: When touring and on the road, what are some of the things you really hate to leave behind when you know you are going to be gone long periods of time? Eddie: My children. Tony: Does the tour finish at the end of the year or are you going to continue? Eddie: If time permits, I will continue. I love what I do. Tony: Growing up, who were and still are some of the comics you really loved to watch? Eddie: Richard Pryor, Redd Foxx, George Carlin, Dick Gregory, Bill Cosby. Tony: And in your opinion, who is the best comic to have ever walked on the stage? Eddie: other than myself, Richard Pryor. Tony: Dysfunktional family, in my opinion, is one of the funniest stand up comic movies/documentaries ever. Eddie: that was the first concert film that actually shows you the people the comedian is talking about. That way you know i wasn't embellishing. Tony: Will there ever be another comic documentary/movie in the near future? Eddie: I'm living what it’s gonna be about right now, so be patient. Tony: Aside from doing stand-up, you’ve also done several films. Was it hard in the beginning crossing over to film? Eddie: I was blessed enough to be spotted early in my career at the comedy store in Hollywood by Andrew Dice Clay and Robert Townsend and they put me in my first films. Tony: You seem to have a full schedule with the touring and the new tv show. Are there new projects in the works, Eddie? Eddie: none that I can talk about right now, but keep tuning in to for updates. Tony: Well thank you again, Eddie, for taking the time in and talk with me. Eddie: your welcome tony!

Page 23 SPIRE

That was a major turning point for Eddie Griffin. At that time Andrew Dice Clay was considered the undisputed king of comedy. Sell out crowds at the Garden were considered impossible at that time. It was here, that Eddie griffin was given the opportunity to do what he does best. He followed this with a 22 city tour.

ONE on ONE Exclusive with ANTBEAZY

Interviewed by Elie for SPIRE

sually when we hear a great music track, we only see the singer or group, but there is so much work done and so much talent lying behind the track... introducing ‘Antbeazy’. We caught up with with the music producer who makes up one half of the Area 5ive 1one Music Production team.

new single, so I decided to enter. Now it’s one of the hottest tracks we have on our area5ive1nemusic MySpace page.

Elie: How about a little introduction for our readers? Antbeazy: Anthony Littlejohn, is my birth name but my music friends know me as “Antbeazy”. I make up one half of the Area 5ive 1ne Music Production team and the other half is my little brother Andre Sias, “DreBeatz”. I reside in San Diego, Ca. Even though I’ve been around music all my life I wasn’t really looking to be a producer, it just happened by chance! I picked up this music software called FruityLoops 10 years ago and ever since then I’ve been making beats and producing for local artist here in San Diego.

Elie: What type of artists or music genre do you like to work with? Antbeazy: As of now I’ve only worked with hip hop, pop, and r&b artist. But I am open to work with any genre.

Elie: So what’s it like being a music producer? Antbeazy: For me being a producer is fun, sometimes hectic and a little stressful. But overall it’s what I love to do so none of the little things bother me. Elie: You’ve remixed the Carmen and Camille track shine4u, great remix, how did that come about? Antbeazy: I found out that Carmen and Camille had a Shine 4u remix competition going on to promote their

Elie: You also produced the Reece track I want you, what was that like? Antbeazy: I Want You was produced by myself and DreBeatz. When we finished the track we knew we had to get Reece on it. He listened to the track wrote to it and recorded it all in a few days. The rest is history. It’s my favorite song we’ve worked on so far. If you haven’t heard of Reece yet you will this dude is a true talent.

Elie: Working on a remix, how long are we talking about it takes to finish? Antbeazy: Some remixes take me hours some take days. I guess it just depends on if I’m feeling the finish product more than if anybody else is. Elie: Who are some of the producers who have influenced you? Antbeazy: There are three that I look up to the most. My oldest brother Mike Ray, Glenn McKinney, and Keith Crouch. I grew up watching these dudes in the studio and learned so much from them. Dr. Dre, Dj Quik, Timberland and Ryan Leslie are my all time favorites. These four to me are the most talented of the bunch. My goal is to be talked about in the same sentence with all those dudes. Elie: You also have a website that sells beats to groups and artists, tell us about that and how it came about? Antbeazy: I was looking online to see how I could sell my beats and

I happen to come across Rocbattle. is a place where known producers and up incoming producers showcase their beats in just about all genres by battling other producer around the globe. Believe me after you lose a couple you’ll definitely step up your production game. I don’t have a perfect record on there (and every one on there thinks they should) but it’s pretty good. If you’re an unsigned producer I recommend this site. Elie: For artists looking for a music producer or that great remix, what should they be looking for? Antbeazy: They should be looking for me!... Seriously though, it’s quality. The Quality of the track is what attracts artist. You can probably get away with it if the beat is banging enough, but most artist want a radio and club ready quality track. Elie: How do people contact you? Antbeazy: People can get in touch with us through our MySpace at or Elie: Any projects you are working on right now? Antbeazy: Right now we’re in the Lab working on Reece’s album that will be out hopefully by early next year. Elie: What’s the plan for the future? Antbeazy: Our goal is to get signed to a major production deal. But until than we still plan on putting out good music for everyone. Elie: Any last comments? Antbeazy: I would like to think Spire Mag for giving us this opportunity. We appreciate the support. Everybody out there go checkout our music! Peace.

PUSCIFER RETURNS TO THE LAS VEGAS MUSIC SCENE Maynard James Keenan Presents His Latest Project

Page 32 SPIRE

ctober 29, 2009 – Las Vegas, Nevada is home to many fragmented dimensions of social life where Egyptian themed architecture is roughly a quarter of a mile away from a life-sized replica of New York City; a fitting place to hold a postmodern performance that lacks rigid continuity and any recognizable structure. Maynard James Keenan (Tool, A Perfect Circle) and his self described “…playground for the voices in my head,” manifested on stage at the Pearl Concert Theatre at the Palms Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas in the form of Puscifer. Although Keenan previously released two albums – V Is IS For Vagina in 2007 and V Is For Vagina: The Remixes in 2008, only recently has he taken his performance in front of live audiences. Puscifer’s first live performance took place last February in Las Vegas,

Nevada and has since put on performances at Club Nokia in Los Angeles before returning to Sin City. We were on hand to cover Keenan’s latest experiment in the desert. The comedic laced cabaret show might be best described as Keenan’s stream-ofconscious set to music. Keenan is frequently joined on his unguided escapades by a host of star-studded performers including Tim Alexander of Primus, Danny Lohner of Nine Inch Nails, Gil Sharone of The Dillinger Escape Plan, and actress/musician Milla Jovovich among a slew of others. Their live shows rival a theatrical performance, in that, these artists often take on the role of various characters during their performance. Puscifer’s unrivaled ability to set a unique ambiance was fitting for a smaller venue such as the Pearl. With a 2,500 seating arrangement, the audience intimately soaked up Puscifer’s antics.

Keenan and crew took the stage decked out in old-time country ensembles; behind them – a theatrical set of a ranch house. They immediately washed over the crowd with provocatively suggestive creations disguised as foot-tapping, bandstand grooves. Keenan’s music is a collaboration of processed vocals, country baritones, and neo-hip-hop beats. His project is a vast departure from his previous rock sound while with Tool and A Perfect Circle. Keenan believes that the sound of Puscifer is a preverbal shot in the arm of the music industry. His creation is his well deserved transition away from the heavy rock industry, which he said is dying. Keenan also said that his assimilation of sight and sound is his attempt to inspire people. Inspirational at the least, Puscifer is undoubtedly a radical desublimation of music and performance.

Elie: What nationality are you? Lorena: Filipino/Spanish. Elie: You’re a ring girl, what does it feel like when you are walking around with the round card and everyone is cheering? Lorena: The first time I done it, it was kind of nerve wracking. Now I’ve done it so many times, it feels like a job to me. But it’s a fun job though, and that everyone is cheering and loving what you are, and what you look like. (laughs)! Elie: What would you wear to seduce a man? Lorena: Very sexy stilleto’s! Elie: What’s the perfect date if someone was to take you out? Lorena: Anything sports. Elie: What do you have a weakness for? Lorena: Junk food. Elie: How do you maintain that amazing body? Lorena: I work out 5 to 6 days a week and I train mixed martial arts. Then I do a lot of outside activities, like dirt bike, hiking, mountain biking, although there’s no water in AZ to do some free diving, I usually do free diving when I can. Elie: Which feature do you receive the most compliments on? Lorena: My eyes. Elie: What do you look for in a guy? Lorena: Loyalty, honesty and of course sense of humor! Elie: One bedroom tip for men? Lorena: Shhh... That’s for me to know. (laughs)!

ctober 29, 2009 – Neil Young once said, “See the losers in the best bars; meet the winners in the dives.” Las Vegas’ most popular local band OTHERWISE has built their reputation around this mantra. The Las Vegas dives have produced star talents such as The Killers and Panic at the Disco, and OTHERWISE is on the verge of becoming the next big thing to emerge out of the Vegas lights. Their self- described sound is, “The bastard love child of Incubus and Story of the Year overdosing at a Stone Temple Pilots concert.” The band has also been dubbed as, “the number one unsigned act in America,” by Fox News and, “the number one unsigned band in Las Vegas,” by Xtreme Rock Radio 107.5. Spawned in 2004, OTHERWISE has grinded it out in the local scene for years. In 2006, they began to see the fruits of their labor pay off. 2006 was the band’s breakout year under the

guidance of Las Vegas’ standout manager, Mark Hornsby. “2006 was the first battle of the bands that we won for ten-grand,” said Patrick. The contest was the band’s first major sign of success. The hefty cash prize also helped the band to release their first self-titled album – OTHERWISE. “After that, our shows just started filling out. That same year that our CD came out, we also won the ‘Holiday Havoc’ contest, which allowed us to open for the Deftones, Papa Roach, Lost Profit, and Unwritten Law at the Thomas and Mack in front of ten-thousand people. 2006 was the year that we developed the name brand of OTHERWISE in Vegas.”

most recently joined forces with producer Michael Elvis Baskette. The premier producer has also worked with major acts including Stone Temple Pilots, Incubus, Chevelle, Story of the Year, and Three Days Grace among others. Baskette produced OTHERWISE’s latest EP titled – Some Kind of Alchemy last month. “We just released an EP to a sold out crowd at Vince Neils’ new rock joint. We were the first local Vegas band to headline on that stage. We’ve been talking to Kevin Churko, Ozzy Osbourne’s producer. He produced Ozzy’s last album that got him a Grammy nomination and two awards that are the Canadian version of the Grammies. He also did Five Finger Death Punch’s album, which we played their CD release party back in December at the Hard Rock.”

Since that time, OTHERWISE has increasingly gained momentum, and

“We’re still fighting the good fight, hoping to get signed to a good label that has the vision and sees the massive potential in us. Once that happens, I guarantee that OTHERWISE will be a household name. It’s just a matter of being at the right place, in the right time, with the right person, in the right mood. It depends on so many different

factors, other than just our talent level.” OTHERWISE is still searching for their well deserved major break, and the band continues to play exclusive shows in the Las Vegas Valley. While continuing to overcome the uncertainties of the music industry, OTHERWISE is far away from the dives where these winners began.

With plans to take their show on the road, OTHERWISE recently teamed up with internationally acclaimed booking agency A&M. The agency has booked mega artists such as TIMBALAND, LL Cool J, and the Wu-Tang Clan. OTHERWISE plans to spearhead A&M’s new rock roster in the near future.

Here at home however, no other local Las Vegas band is drawing the numbers that OTHERWISE is pulling into their gigs.

ONE on ONE Exclusive with a PITFIGHTER

Interviewed by Elie for SPIRE

In a world where rules could only be imagined, where weight divisions could only be hoped for and serious injury is just part of the game... welcome to the world of a PITFIGHTER, where illegal underground fighting is there job and inflicting severe damage is there only option. Two fighters, no referee, no rules and no judges... this is inside the mind of a PITFIGHTER.

“Boxers, grapplers, muay thai champions, kickboxers etc... it was very well organized by very powerful people” Elie: What is underground fighting? Pitfighter: There are many ways I can describe to u what underground fighting is. Basically its fights that are not sanctioned by any type of governing body. People with a lot of money and nothing to do with it that enjoy watching people beat the crap out of each other for entertainment. Elie: What made you want to compete in an illegal underground fight? Pitfighter: Of course the money, not going to lie. But more then that, it was to me the ultimate challenge of man vs man, testing yourself and skill. just like the days of the gladiators. Elie: Give us a rundown of what happens and how it’s set up? Pitfighter: Well to have fought in the best circuits you had to have

know some powerful people, fortunately I did. You would get a call from someone saying they had someone for you to fight, in this city or where ever, and time. They took care of all your expenses, and the fight was set up. They took real good care of you, as long as you kept winning and making them money.

backyard or bar brawlers, not where I fought at least. they were very good at their disciplines and styles, pro fighters looking to make some good money from all over the world. Boxers, grapplers, muay thai champions, kickboxers etc... it was very well organized by very powerful people, it was done right.

Elie: How is your opponent chosen? Was there weight divisions? Pitfighter: What weight classes, I wish there were weight classes [laughs]. Nope, for the most part you fight whom ever they set you up to fight.

Elie: Were the fights fairly matched? Pitfighter: What’s fair in life, nothing. Man I was 185 pounds jacked up. I am a short guy. I was sometimes up against guys 230-240 pounds. That’s what people wanted to see and bet on, watching the smaller guys beat the bigger guys or vise versa. I made them a lot of money, and they took real good care of me.

Elie: What was the competition like? Are these trained fighters with fighting backgrounds or just people from the street? Pitfighter: Competition was tough, yeah there where no wanna be

Elie: What’s the worst thing you’ve seen in an underground fight? Pitfighter: Next question, please.

Elie: What about the rules? What was aloud and what was not? Pitfighter: Rules, man that’s a funny question [laughs]. About the only rules there were was… no weapons. Everything else goes. Biting, eye strikes, groin, throat, knees they were all fair game. Helped me out a lot, since everyone was much bigger. You could win by knockout, submission, or if the other persons gives up.

stay away far away from it now. more into training, teaching and watching the MMA events now. MMA will take over the world in sports one day, there are a lot of good promotions going on, they take care of the fighters safety first, there are rules and they are legal. It’s the way to go.

Elie: What was the prize (how much was the prize)? Pitfighter: It was always different, depending on odds, and your value to them. Starts at a few grand to up to $100 000, like I said depends how good you are. If you kept winning, money was great. Sometimes they would even throw in some very beautiful women for you, [laughs] nice cars, hotel suits bigger then some houses. as long as you made them money. If you lose, they basically just get rid of you, your no good to them anymore. I had approximately 20 fights.

Elie: How would you prepare physically and mentally for your fights? Pitfighter: Physically, lots of training 2 to 3 times a day, I would get up 4am do my cardio, eat, go back to bed, wake up and train again. Eat, sleep and train… that’s all I did, had no life. You just had to train real hard and have good people in your corner, there was no video watching to try to study your opponent, because you didn’t know who it would be that you would be fighting. Mentally, that at first was the hard part for me in the beginning. Then I got real good at it. I would shut out everyone in my life, girlfriends, family and friends, everything. I would get myself to a point that I had no feelings or emotions at all. I became a very cold person, I usually would stay away from people I know, and everyday I would be by myself, just training and focusing on the fight. I felt that, that’s how I had to be, you can’t go into a fight all emotional and caring, that’s when you get hurt. That was me then. I am now a real nice, loving, caring man [laughs].

Elie: Does illegal underground fighting still occur today? Pitfighter: Does it still happen, probably more then ever now. I

Elie: Tell us about an illegal underground fight you’ve had that stands out in your mind? Pitfighter: Hmm… a fight that

Elie: Where are they usually held? Paint us a picture of the layout? Type of venue? Pitfighter: Wow, the fancy clubs, after hours, and some of the biggest ass mansions I have ever seen. People watching all dressed up in suits, women in dresses, lot of high class people, with nothing better to do with their money, lots of crazy ass betting.

stands out that I have had. I can’t remember, too many blows to the head. I have a bad memory [laughs]. Joking. Well one that really stands out to this day and always will to me is. I was matched up against this big ugly guy about 6'3 230 pounds of muscle, the fight must have went on for about 15 minutes, he kicked me in the nuts liked I have never been kicked before, I was out and in so much pain I even threw up. but no one stopped the fight. he kept kicking me when I was down, then all I remember is that he was on top of me, punching me as hard as he could, man I really thought I was going to die that moment. But I am a fighter not a lover [laughs] and a lover now… but seriously it was so bad, and all of a sudden I just got my senses back and its like I turned into this crazy animal, I got him off me and was on top of him, just going to town. I put him in an armbar that was so tight, stupid guy wouldn’t tap, so i broke it. It was loud and one of the sickest things to look at. His elbow was sticking out, and man he was screaming like a little girl. That’s one story I thought I would share with you that wasn’t too gory for the readers. [laughs]. In the end it was a long and tough, painful fight, my ribs were bruised, black eye, and a very sore groin, that made me spend a few days in the hospital after. But I never gave up in the fight, and my mindset going into each fight was… that you would have to kill me to beat me, and no one was going to stop me from going home to be with my family. kill or be killed...

Your hair smells like my pillow wants to.” Elie: How did you get into the whole modelling scene? Stella: After being a successful mortgage broker, and being affected by the whole market crash, one day I was looking for work online and my son said, “Mommy, you should just be a model.” He continued to explain to me how beautiful I was and how successful I would be as a model. That week I set up my first photo shoot (almost two years ago), and here I am!! Elie: What do you do with your free time? Stella: I stay super active. I love to run and dance! Elie: What would you wear to seduce a man? Stella: I can pretty much seduce a man wearing anything. It really isn’t about what you are wearing, but about how you carry yourself while wearing it. If in your mind you are sexy, then you will exude sexiness. Elie: How do you maintain that amazing body? Stella: I work out every day and train kickboxing in various gyms in Miami. Elie: What’s your sexiest feature? Stella: My abs… someone actually wrote a poem about my stomach (laughs). Elie: Have you ever made the first move on a guy? Stella: Absolutely! I hate playing games. That is how I got my “papi”. He brags about the fact that I asked him out the first time. Elie: Where do you think men go wrong with women? Stella: We are really not that complicated. We love to hear that we are beautiful and that we are always on your mind. We NEVER get tired of hearing that. Elie: One bedroom tip for men? Stella: Savor her body. Take your time. Push the limits. Oops sorry that’s three. That is how my “hombre” keeps me happy. tephen J. Johnson, Ph.D. is the founder and Director of the Men's Center of Los Angeles, which was formed in 1988 and creator of the Sacred Path Men’s Retreat (since 1987) and Call to Adventure Rites of Passage Retreat for boys and men (since 2000). Having been awarded Masters and Doctoral Fellowships, he earned his advanced degrees from the University of Southern California. He has taught in a number of venues and is a published author. A licensed Psychotherapist in private practice

“I’ve helped many men through the nightmare of falling under the spell of a dangerous woman” since 1972, Dr. Johnson stands in the forefront of the developing field of Male Psychology and Gender Dynamics.

Elie: We’re talking fatal attractions, obsessions, what drives someone to that point? Dr Johnson: Obsessively driven relationships are much more common than you might think. Dangerous relationships have been the subject of many films, including such box office successes as “Fatal Attraction,” “Dangerous Liaisons,” “The Last Seduction,” “Basic Instincts,” “Damaged,” and “Disclosure.” Unfortunately, these films haven’t helped close the great divide of distrust that exists between men and women. We all know of at least one dangerous relationship that has come too close to home.

Men and women with an obsessive love attachment will tend to act out on a continuum ranging from seductive power plays to full-blown fatal attraction. This form of obsession originally stems from an anxiety disorder usually arising in reaction to a very stressful, overwhelming, painful, typically traumatic and unresolved personal history. Elie: Is it usually a girl obsessed over a guy or the other way round? Dr Johnson: I have witnessed both females and males who have been taken possession by a love dependent or sexually addicted partner. This form of pathology is contained within the diagnostic category of obsessivecompulsive mood disorder. The partners exhibiting obsessive attachment may also suffer from a form of narcissistic personality disorder. They may be prone to perpetrating or vulnerable to falling prey to a dangerous or predatory relationship. Any relationship in which the stakes are high - whether it’s an illicit affair or a relationship that becomes highly dysfunctional - qualifies as a dangerous liaison. When things are progressing smoothly the experience is heavenly, however, when it gets rocky it can be hell. True, men have behaved badly since the dawn of time by making poor decisions about sex and love, treating women in denigrating ways, and getting involved with partners who are glaringly yet enticingly wrong for them. It is equally true that there are women out there who are capable, consciously or unconsciously, of bringing men down. In every man’s life, he meets at least one dangerous woman, or is at least witness to a situation in which a man he knows makes a poor decision about the company he keeps, often with tragic consequences. Some of these men, thanks to their own dynamics, unwittingly conspire to

bring about their own downfall.

10 SIGNS TO LOOK OUT FOR: Dr Johnson: If you identify with any of these warning signs you might be a sitting duck for a dangerous relationship, take heed: 1. If you’re feeling old, deprived, under appreciated, depressed, misunderstood and generally in need of a tune-up… So you feel it’s time to spice up your life, eh. 2. If your current relationship seems flat, boring, loveless and you find yourself longing for a little “harmless” wanderlust… 3. If you think you’ve met the woman of your dreams; take heed, she may later prove to be your worst nightmare. If you think she’s too good to be true, you’re probably right. 4. She’s just a friend. Well, if your newfound “friend” envisions you as her Knight in shining armor and elevates you to a pinnacle above mortal men, you may be well positioned for a big fall. 5. If she says, “You’re not like other men.” Be careful not to agree too fast. Later, when she changes her mind you may need the help of one or more of those “other men.” 6. If your normal limits and boundaries go out the door and you find yourself displaying grandiose behaviors that are risky or reckless and you’re tossing caution to the wind, take heed. 7. Tread slowly. Watch out for instant intimacy and progressing the relationship too fast before you really get to know whom you’re dealing with… Take time to get to know your partner. 8. Avoid the halo effect…the tendency to minimize and deny the glitches, covert signs and subtle indicators of trouble ahead. Take note of any attitudinal and behavioral clues to what may lie below the surface before it’s too late. 9. If your partner brings out the worst in you and you find yourself reacting and constantly explaining, justifying, rationalizing and defending yourself against an unrelenting pattern of blame… 10. If you avoid friends and family because you’re so consumed with the relationship, want to keep it a secret or because they don’t like your new companion…

Page 63 SPIRE

One of the most common ways a man’s life begins to go adrift is when he gets himself involved in a toxic relationship. I’ve helped many men through the nightmare of falling under the spell of a dangerous woman.

Elie: I’m sure in your line of work you’ve managed to come across a few fatal attractions, obsessions, what is the worst that you’ve come across? Dr Johnson: Within my practice as a psychotherapist, I hear many such stories, including those from men who have fallen from grace in their lives as the result of a real-life fatal attraction. In the book I’m writing titled, Man Up! What it Take to be a Good Man Today, one case in particular stands out as an example of a perilous relationship in which no one exited unscathed.

Page 64 SPIRE

One of my patients, Mike, met a woman, Denise, in a bar one lonely night and struck up a conversation over many drinks. The alcohol made it ultra-easy for them to share far too much about each other in a firstchance meeting. Their instant passion turned volatile, and ultimately the relationship propelled itself to a tragic end when the woman killed herself. Mike had to face how his own neediness and narcissism blinded him to the allure of a borderline personality disorder suffered by his femme fatale. Elie: From the other side (the obsessed) what are some of the things they are capable of doing? Dr Johnson: There was also an attorney in my practice that became involved in a dangerous relationship, careening from one eruptive episode to another. Each time he would attempt to extricate himself from his perilous partner she would become enraged, taking out her revenge in a variety of creative ways, including ordering a multitude of take out food from various establishments to be delivered to his office all at the same time, throwing rocks through his windows, chasing him in her car and attempting to block him or smash into his car, putting a naked picture of him with his business card in prominent places throughout Beverly Hills, and calling his elderly mother to inform her that he had been killed in an auto accident, and threatening to kill his therapist. Yes, the web can ensnare other innocent parties within one’s intimate circle. This woman, who clearly had mental and moral issues she failed to deal with, was eventually sentenced to prison.

Elie: Usually (the obsessed) are they normal people or do they usually have certain problems, conditions? Dr Johnson: Former President Bill Clinton’s presidency took a torpedo dive because he couldn’t resist the adulation of intern, Monica Lewinsky. It was ultimately his brazenness that brought about the impeachment hearings. And, lest we not forget, virtually every male in the Kennedy dynasty has made the tabloids, and so it goes. It seems these days that there is no end to the scandalous behavior of Sports figures. We all bore witness to the drama that unfolded on Court TV involving O.J. Simpson. Not that long ago it was Los Angeles Lakers basketball superstar, Kobe Bryant, whose trial for allegedly raping a hotel employee commanded our attention

for weeks. Pick up the newspaper on almost any day of the week and you’ll likely find a story about a prominent, powerful man who just couldn’t keep his hands off “the goods.” We, the somewhat less powerful, the less influential, may envy the privileged pack that often get away with being bad. While we may live vicariously through their exploits, they seem impervious to their own actions. However, should we slip away to consort with forbidden fruit, our wives would leave us, our kids would look at us in disgust, and our careers would falter. We would wind up living in a one-bedroom apartment, scraping by to keep our (former) families living in the style to which we had become accustomed.

Elie: We’ve all seen the movies, fatal attraction, obsessed, how close are these to real life scenarios? Dr Johnson: One of the most common ways a man’s life begins to go adrift is when he gets himself involved in a toxic relationship. I’ve helped many men through the nightmare of falling under the spell of a dangerous woman. In my book, I focus on how - and why men put themselves into peril with women who can absolutely collude with them to wreak havoc on their lives. I recall being in a movie theatre, watching Fatal Attraction, riveted to my seat with a chilling sensation running through my body. Somehow I knew this was more than a movie. It had a driving force behind it that seemed to connect men, without external acknowledgement, into a secret club that no one wanted to admit membership. Without exchanging even a glance, men left the theatre having participated in an experience that portrayed a hidden ritual of manhood, of which most had firsthand knowledge. This movie sent a shockwave as an undercurrent that moved deep within the bowels of men’s psyches. It touched the shadowy nerve endings of men’s collective souls unleashing a torrent of anxiety bound confusion. He who succumbs to such a woman’s manipulative ways may soon realize that something is terribly wrong, yet he doesn’t know how to extricate himself from her snare - or better yet, how to avoid her at the gate.

1. Stop, take a deep breath and contemplate your circumstances. Evaluate the pros and cons of the decisions that lie before you. 2. Ask yourself the following questions: Is this good for me? Is it good for you? Will it hurt anyone? 3. Avoid keeping the relationship a total secret. Show the relationship the light of day. Share with a trusted friend or objective advisor who will give you unbiased feedback. Seek professional help…get into therapy. Be open to the counsel and willing to make positive shifts and a course correction, if called for. 4. Seek out a Mentor. Look for an older person who can share his or her own personal wisdom. Challenges are rarely brand new. Most elders have encountered the same challenges before and can be of help by sharing their lessons learned. 5. Talk openly and honestly with your primary partner regarding any issues or concerns that have been bothering you. Clear your resentments rather than allowing them to fester and mount up to the point that you feel justified to act out. Clear you feelings frequently. The truth works; therefore, tell the truth as quickly, completely and compassionately as possible. 6. Poor judgment calls and disorders of conduct arise from one’s tendency to be defensive and build character armor as a form of self-protection. Stay open and safely vulnerable. It will lead to greater intimacy. 7. Deal maturely and responsibly with issues of aging and mortality. Accept that you can only slow the clock so much and that there comes a time to take stock of one’s current life situation with a level of personal accountability. 8. Remember, integrity is what you do even when you think nobody would find out. 9. Consider your future and the positive goals that you have held for yourself, your partner and your family. Contemplate your values, principles and your personal ethic. Consider the importance of those who have shared your life through thick and thin, high and low periods. These are your real friends and allies. Value those who care about you for who you really are, rather than those who care about who they think you are… 10. It’s rarely too late to make a course correction and to get back on the Path. A wise man once said, “Know where you’re going and who’s going with you… and don’t get those reversed.”

Detroit Lions Cornerback Phillip Buchanon is a former first round pick, grew up as a multi-sport athlete who had a shot at playing Major League Baseball‌ but chose football instead, and is known to knock off a helmet or two in his time on the field. I was lucky enough to go One on One with him, where I found out who he idolized growing up, what he thinks of trash talk, and how he thinks rookie QB Matthew Stafford is adjusting to the game.

Interviewed by Mike Denny for SPIRE Photos by Jorge Lemus and Detroit Lions.

Mike: What's your earliest memory of sports having an impact on you? Buchanon: When I was young it was exciting and fun. I remember being 10 years old playing football and baseball. That was the year I scored five touchdowns in one game and hit my first homerun in baseball. That is when I first felt that I had the chance to succeed in sports. Mike: Every kid had a favorite football player growing up (mine were Barry Sanders and Boomer…) (laughs) who was yours? Buchanon: Bo Jackson and Deon Sanders because they both played two sports, baseball and football.

Mike: You were a first round draft pick in ‘02 by the Oakland Raiders...what went threw your mind when you got that call? Buchanon: Everyone was saying I was going to be a top ten pick, so there was a little disappointment, but overall I was happy to get the opportunity to play football for a living. Mike: Out of your entire football career, is there one game that stands out to you as the most memorable? Buchanon: I don’t have one game that stands out over another. I guess my first start in Oakland would be one that stood out, also the games where I scored my first interception and first touchdown. Mike: Who is the toughest WR in the NFL to matchup with one-on-one? Buchanon: Taller receivers are always tough to cover, anyone over 6’5”. Mike: What would you say is the hardest hit you ever put on someone? Buchanon: In college while playing for the University of Miami Hurricanes there are two plays I remember. One was a hit I put on a Troy State player and knocked his helmet off. Another was against a Florida State player and I knocked his mouthpiece out.

Mike: And vice versa, what would you say is the hardest you have been hit? Buchanon: When I was playing little league football for the Riverdale Wildcats in Ft Myers Florida. Someone Crack backed me and knocked the wind out of me. I was totally blindsided! Mike: What are your thoughts on your teams rookie QB Matthew Stafford? It’s gotta be hard to come in as a rookie QB and immediately start... how is he handling the pressure? Buchanon: He’s a young very talented quarterback. He still will have some growing pains, but he is learning and is very smart when it comes to the game. Matt is very quiet, very laid back and he doesn’t let all the excitement that comes with playing in the NFL bother him. Mike: What's the toughest part of being a professional football player? Buchanon: The toughest part is the possibility of being traded and the job

uncertainty. It’s tough being away from your family for part of the year. Mike: What's the best part? Buchanon: Winning and the camaraderie with the players. Mike: Does trash talk from a guy like Ochocinco motivate a defender? Or can it throw them off their game? Buchanon: It depends on the defender, for me it motivates me and makes me want to shut down that receiver, that much more. Mike: Last one, if they made a movie about your life... who would you want to play you? Buchanon: Omar Epps and a younger version of Wesley Snipes. (laughing). Mike: Thanks man! Anything you wanna close with? Buchanon: I just want to stay that I appreciate all the fans in Detroit and everyone that has been supporting us this season.

ONE on ONE Exclusive with Phillip Buchanon

Mike: Could you tell us a little bit about your time at the University of Miami? Buchanon: It’s real simple. I had a lot of fun and we won the championship. If I could do it all over again I would.

SPORT Mike: What's up Terrell? How have you been? Suggs: I've been Marvelous. Mike: When did you first know you wanted to be a pro football player? Suggs: It was in High School. Because that is all the girls were dating then (the football players). Mike: Growing up, did you have a favorite NFL player? Suggs: Chris Dolman- was a Minnesota Viking, DE #56. Mike: You went to Arizona State University, could you tell us a little bit about your time there? Suggs: One of the best times of my life. My criteria in a college didn’t match everyone else’s, my criteria was THE party. I wanted that certain experience.

Mike: You were the 10th overall pick in the ‘03 draft… what went through your head as you got that call? Suggs: I was happy and sad at the same time. My Dad wasn’t able to be there because he had to stay home, and he was the reason why I started to play football in the first place. Mike: You also were awarded the honor of Defensive Rookie of the Year… how did it feel to be recognized as the best rookie selected that year? Suggs: It was very flattering. A lot of rookies had great years that year! So it meant a lot to me. Mike: Out of your entire football career, do you have a most memorable game that sticks out in your memory? Suggs: 2006, played the Steelers and we sacked them nine times! 27-0. Mike: You and Ray Lewis... most fearsome LB duo in the NFL today? Suggs: We are definitely in the top three... We work well together. Mike: Who is the toughest running back to get a clean hit on? Suggs: Adrian Peterson. Mike: Speaking of hits... what’s the hardest hit you have put on someone? Suggs: Curtis Martin back in 2004... I think he had to retire because of it. Mike: What would you say is the hardest hit you have taken on the field? Suggs: In 2005 I got cracked by a

Philadelphia Eagles receiver. Hit me in the stomach good, but I can’t remember who the guy was. Mike: What's it like playing in the pro bowl alongside all those other selections? Suggs: The Best part of the pro bowl to me is taking my family over. Mike: Is it tough to adjust to the new defense while playing in that game? Suggs: No, it’s not hard... they keep it pretty basic. Mike: Is it just all for fun, and a great time out there... or is it a serious game? Suggs: The game is definitely taken seriously, but we all have some fun. Mike: The AFC North is starting to emerge as a very competitive division with you guys, the Steelers and now the Bengals... does that competition help motivate a team? Suggs: Being in the NFL motivates you! But you definitely don’t want to lose games in your division, so there is always that as motivation as well. Mike: Last one... if they made a movie about your life. Who would you want to play your role? Suggs: Henry Simmons. Mike: Thanks man, anything you wanna add? Suggs: Please make sure and visit my website

When you hear anyone talk about the Baltimore Ravens, it’s almost impossible not to think of defense. And when you think of Baltimore defense, you have to think of the Linebacker Duo of Terrel Suggs and Ray Lewis. I had the opportunity to sit down with Terrel and get his thoughts on a variety of things. From the party life at college to who the toughest RB in the game is to put a hit on.

Elie: What nationality are you? Sabrina: Caucasian/ Hispanic Mix. Elie: What are your turn ons? Sabrina: A smart honest man who only has eyes for me. Elie: Best pick up line you’ve heard? Sabrina: I don’t think there is ever a good one. One guy introduced himself as “cash money”, I gave him some advice on what NOT to say to a woman. Elie: What kind of clothing on a guy would catch your attention? Sabrina: Laughable attention or attractive attention? Well a neon green slingshot speedo garment would get attention. I like a guy in good jeans, not the kind with rhinestones on the back though. A nice shirt, collared or not. Not one who likes guys who dress too trendy or too “Hollywood”. That’s a turn off to me! Elie: What does it feel like when you see yourself featured in a magazine? Sabrina: I just think my family is going to tease me again this year at Christmas (laughs).

Elie: How do you maintain that amazing body? Sabrina: I eat a lot of junk food, so I guess I have a high metabolism. I don’t work out except for dancing. I prefer to dance alone when I’m at home cleaning or sewing or waiting for my food to cook. I also like to take the dogs for a walk and run really fast with the crazy one that looks like a tiny horse.

“to most of the guys it’s my smile, my face, hair and my boobs”

Elie: What are your turn offs? Sabrina: Liars, cheaters & players. Creepiness! Elie: What’s your sexiest feature? Sabrina: I think everyone likes something different. To the right guy I’d like, he’d say my eyes. However to most of the guys it’s my smile, my face, hair and my boobs (laughs). I like my feet. They are cute. Elie: What do you look for in a guy? Sabrina: Someone genuine who isn’t into just carving notches in his bedpost. Someone real who I can have a real connection with who doesn’t just try to trick me. Someone who I can have an everlasting bond with. Someone who treats love like true love. Those are rare. I’ve met a few. They just weren’t the one. I haven’t been looking but… also I guess when you know… you know. Elie: Who would you like to be for a day and why? Sabrina: A sparrow. Not a dove or a pigeon. Not a bee. People kill bees. They beebee gun pigeons. I’d want to be a sparrow so I could fly anywhere I wanted. I’d be small so people wouldn’t know I was there. I’d sit on a cliff by the beach and steal people’s french fries. Elie: One bedroom tip for men? Sabrina: Don’t be in a rush! That’s such a turn off. Most of the time. Elie: What in store for you in future? Sabrina: Great things! Day by day I’m getting closer to my dreams. I’m excited about my line at!

I have been flirting with an office co-worker and now I'm feeling like I want to take it to the next step, but I don't want to as I'm in a serious relationship, how do I stop it? Woah woah woah. Cool your jets hunnie! Ever hear of the saying you can’t have your cake and eat it too… hmm first off if you’re in a serious relationship, how the hell do you think you’re going to start another one. You’re obviously not satisfying her needs in the first relationship, how are you going to in another. So you need to sit back, take a deep breath and think about who really has your heart and who you couldn’t live without. And once you do this you’ll know what you need to do. But you need to cut it off with one lady, you playboy, because this isn’t fair to the ladies or to you either.

My girlfriend cheated on me a few years back, but I want to get over it and learn to trust her again, is that possible? This question seems to come up a lot. I don’t feel like people now a days respect the rules of love and commitment. They always think “oh well if I cheat there’s other people out there for me”. This is not always the truth. And if you weren’t feeling so hurt from her cheating, then you definitely would not be bringing it back up. But give her the benefit of the doubt. I always say everyone has a second chance and if she truly has kept her word and has been working on her wandering eye, then I do not think you have anything to worry about. Just try to move on with the relationship and be like how you were when you first met... in love.

Open Relationship

I met this really cool girl who just wants a casual and open relationship, is there any chance this relationship will go any further? Never say never. You should be lucky to have found a girl who is so upfront and honest with you. I feel like there are not a lot of women out there who are like that (and this is coming from a lady’s mouth). But at the same time this has me worried. She almost seems like she is being a dude. Guys are usually the ones who react like this, not wanting to be in a full on relationship. So I think you should try it out for a few weeks and if you’re ready to get more serious and she’s not, then MOVE ON! There’s a ton more fish in the sea that would love to have you as their PAPA!!

Ex-Boyfriend Problem

Q. A.

My girlfriend constantly still talks to her ex-boyfriend, is this normal or should I be concerned? Hmm… well there’s 2 ways to answer this. Yes and No. yes it is normal they are still friends and still talk about their love lives, almost like the gay best friend. And umm no. this isn’t normal if you have any suspicion at all she still likes him. Because even if he still likes her, but there’s no chance in hell that she likes him then you’re fine, she’s probably just being the nice sweet caring girl that you know. But if there’s anyway that she could possibly still like him then I would be worried. Because who knows what they are talking about... they could be talking about a way to get rid of you.

The Threesome Issue

Q. A.

My fantasy is to have a threesome with another girl, how do I bring that up with

my lady?

This is a very touchy subject dollface. It could also go 2 ways. First way is that she’ll yell out hell yeah, when can we start (in this case she either has bisexual tendencies or has past

Am I Her Type?

My ex girlfriend and I broke up just over 6 months ago, and now after dating a few other girls, I want her back? Any suggestions? This typically happens when you move on too fast. You get too excited by all the GOOD THINGS out there and don’t give yourself enough time to get over your heartache. I mean reach out to her and see if she’s feeling the same way, if not then unfortunately its your turn to mope around for a little and get all those tears and hard feelings out. Just remember next time this happens… give your little baby heart a little more time to heal before you get back in the game!

I'm a little concerned about my relationship. My girl likes the buffy, tanned, tattoo, bad boy type, yet I am nothing like that, do you think this will be a problem? Here’s the thing babes. A lot of women ARE drawn to the bad boy sex pot type, but in the end we grow out of it and just want a man who will be there for us and protect us and provide for us. So I’m sure you’re good to go, but if you are seriously worried about this, maybe hit the gym an extra day of the week, go get a spray tan and some temporary tattoos... but I’m sure none of this stuff will change her feelings about you! Don’t stress so much cupcake, she loves you just the way you are, or she wouldn’t be with you!

I Want Her Back!

experiences with this) or she could freak out and give you the whole you don’t like me anymore you think I’m ugly and fat and that’s why you want another girl. So I advise that before you just blurt out this question that you maybe want to do a little digging around first!

JOKES NEED A BRAIN In the Hospital the relatives gathered in the waiting room, where their family member lay gravely ill. Finally, the doctor came in looking tired and somber. "I'm afraid I am the bearer of bad news," he said as he surveyed the worried faces, "The only hope left for your loved one at this time is a brain transplant. It's an experimental procedure, semi-risky, and you will have to pay for the brain yourselves."

The man was working hard cleaning the BBQ grill while his wife was bending over, weeding flowers from the flower bed. So the man says to his wife "Your rear end is almost as wide as this grill" She ignores the remark. A little later, the husband takes his

The family members sat silent as they absorbed the news. After a length of time, someone asked, "Well, how much does a brain cost?" The Doctor quickly responded, "$5000 for a male brain, and $200 for a female brain." measuring tape and measures the grill, then he goes over to his wife while she is bending over, measures her rear end and gasps, "Geez, it really IS as wide as the grill!" The wife calmly responds, "If you think I'm gonna fire up the grill for one little wiener, you are sadly mistaken."

After a couple of days the guy comes back and orders 15 tequilas. The bartender asked, "What's wrong now," to which the guy responds That he found out that his older son was gay, too. The bartender says that he's sorry. The guy returned a few days later and ordered 20 tequilas. The bartender burst out, "Isn't anyone in your family gettin' any pussy?!" The guy gets really pissed and says, "Yeah, my wife!!!!!"

The moment turned awkward. Men in the room tried not to smile, avoiding eye contact with the women, but some actually smirked. A man, unable to control his curiosity, blurted out the question everyone wanted to ask, "Why is the male brain so much more?" The doctor smiled at the childish innocence and then to the entire group said, "It's just standard pricing procedure. We have to mark down the price of the female brains, because they've been used."

COLD HANDS A couple decided to go to Alaska for a romantic weekend. When they got to the cabin it was cold, so the wife asked her husband to go chop some wood for the fire place. He came in after 5 minutes and told his wife that his hands were cold, so she said form him to put your hands between her thighs to warm them. So he did and went back outside to finish chopping wood. He came in after another 5 minutes and said " honey my hands are cold again". So she tells him “here, put your hands between my thighs to warm them. So he did and then he went back out to chop some more wood.

5 minutes had passed and he went in again and said, "honey my hands are cold again". She then said, "Damn don't your ears ever get cold?"

"Outstanding," Fred replied. "They taught us all the latest psychological techniques visualization, association - it's made a big difference for me." "That's great! What was the name of that clinic?" Fred went blank. He thought and thought but couldn't remember. Then a smile broke across his face and he asked, "What do you call that flower with the long stem and thorns?"

A man and a woman were having drinks when they got into an argument about who enjoyed sex more. The man said, "Men obviously enjoy sex more than women. Why do you think we're so obsessed with getting laid?" "That doesn't prove anything," the woman countered. "Think about this... when your ear itches and you put your finger in it and wiggle It around, then pull it out, which feels better, your ear or your finger?"

DYING WISH Two brothers jointly owned a business and both were wise in worldly ways. While dying, one brother instructed his sibling to put half of their combined wealth into the grave with the casket.

"You mean a rose?" The brother reluctantly agreed.

"Yes, that's it!" He turned to his wife. "Rose, what was the name of that clinic?"

In time his brother died. At the graveside ceremony the living brother wrote a check for half of their assets and placed it in the casket.
