R Sundaram is the Founder and Managing Director of The Salem Aeropark and Aerospace Engineers Pvt Ltd (AEPL), a leading aerospace and defense manufacturing company established in 1988 With over 35 years of experience in the industry, he holds degrees in Polymer Technology, Mechanical Engineering, and PGDPRI Under his leadership, AEPL has earned numerous certifications including AS9100D, NADCAP, and DGCA Production Organisation Approval, and has been recognized with over 14 national awards Notably, AEPL won the “First Prize in Innovation” and “Defence Technology Absorption Award” from the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India. Mr. Sundaram serves on several governing boards, including the Tamil Nadu Dr M G R Medical University and Government College of Engineering, Salem. AEPL has also partnered internationally, including a five-year contract with the Egyptian Armament Authority Known for quality and innovation, AEPL supplies critical components for aircraft, missiles, and ventilators, and has showcased globally at major airshows
