The Convention

The Annual MMA Women Managers' Convention is a celebration of the spirit of women; and the many diverse roles women play. Each year the theme for the convention has revolved around the evolving roles and needs of women. The event creates a platform for women across different walks of life, to come together, share their thoughts, opinions, insights and experiences. What binds these women is the urge to excel in their respective fields, be it as business leaders, entrepreneurs, thinkers, artists or policymakers. The focus of the convention is to inspire and guide women to grow in every area of life.

The Platform

We all have the power to create the future we want. But reaching our full potential requires a little more than status quo. The big differentiator is not Brains or Brawn but resilience and most importantly an ability and willingness to go The Extra Mile!

This year’s convention will be all about coming into the best version of ourselves! How do we ensure that the sum of our parts (and the roles we play) - will add up to be greater than the whole!

In the process, we will celebrate our wins, take risks, set boundaries, and rest & relax!

We will push boundaries and attempt to identify - what is MY extra mile? What can make my life, relationships or work better by doing a little extra?

Shifting Priorities

We are seeing female icons of ambition across industries, prioritising what matters most and making shifts. Is it time to normalise that shifting priority from career to family and health for chapters is not antithetical to ambition. This session will attempt to make sense of the big shifts in society, our workplaces, and our lives.

Key perspectives on:

· The value of self reflection and learning to ask the right questions.

· Is getting to 50/50 work & family a myth?
