He returned to India as General Manager – M&A in

Hindustan Lever,

Mumbai, during

which period he has had extensive experience in M&A and Integration of new businesses.

In 1997 Mr. Ravi Shankar joined

Ernst & Young,

as a

Senior Partner

heading the Corporate

Finance Practice of Southern Region (handling M&A, Valuation, Private Equity). He was also the Regional Office Managing Partner of Chennai -for 10 years from 1997-2007. He also headed the Valuation Practice All India and Business Advisory Services (Consulting division) of Ernst & Young in India during the above period.

In 2007 he founded a boutique Investment Banking and Consulting business

in which he

advises entrepreneurs and family businesses in professionalizing management, preparing the Company and family for strategic decisions to preserve the wealth of the family and take the business to next level of growth! Mr. Ravishankar also handholds Companies for buy-side and sell side advisory for Mergers & Acquisitions (Investment Banking), Valuation, Restructuring, and General consulting for Performance Improvement.

SHIVA KRISHNAMURTHY Shiva Krishnamurthy is Vice President for Foods & Beverages at HUL. He has worked in Unilever for 20 years on various Sales and Marketing roles across categories and geographies. During his tenure, HUL’s Tea business has regained market leadership and has been accelerating profitable growth. He is an avid marketer with some famous work to his credit. He passionately believes in the Unilever marketing credo of “brands with purpose” and has brought it alive on Brooke Bond Red Label.
