Shoba Sridaran

Shoba Sridaran is currently the global head of learning and development at Bristlecone, a Mahindra group of companies. She has over 25 years of work experience and has a UG in computer science from Chennai and a PG in Business administration from the US.

She started her career as a software developer and has worked for over 10 years in the US when her passion to connect with people and to learn brought her into the L & D space. Her unique meta comptency framework where competencies are chosen by employees based on the levels of work and goals recently won Bristlecone Gold award by the Economic Times.

She has been volunteering with the Art of living foundation for over a decade now and is currently the state teacher coordinator. Passion for making a difference is her mantra.

She lives in chennai with her husband Sanjay and 2 daughters Shreya and Shipra

Uma Maheswari

Uma Maheswari is a HR professional with over 2 decades of experience and has worked in global organizations in several capacities such as Organizational and Talent Development, HR Shared Services, Talent Management, Industrial relations etc. She currently leads the HR /IR function for Caterpillar India’s manufacturing plant at Thiruvallur, near Chennai. She is an extremely positive and empathetic person, loves to take challenges and an avid learner – formal learning, learning from people and through life experiences. She always focuses on providing exceptional value to business and, in that process, gets a little workaholic! She turns to good music, physical workouts, and mentors to keep balance.
