Babu is an active Rotarian and is a part of the Rotary Club of Madras East ( RCME) where he is involved various society uplifting projects.
A Past President of IFA GALAXY (one of India’s oldest and leading associations for Mutual Fund Distributors (MFDs) ), Babu has been at the forefront of helping the MFDs navigate themselves to a better place. Nazar started his career as Medical Representative and was in Pharma Marketing for around 7 years and shifted to Marketing of Engineering Products before launching Brand Manna in 2000., a Health Brand manufacturing and Marketing Health products, Millet products and other FMCG products.
NAZAR is a Graduate of Science and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management.
Nazar is a vivid speaker of many subjects in general and on Business, Entrepreneurship, and Motivation and in knowledge sharing sessions. He is a member of many Social, Industrial, Trading and Tamil organizations.
Nazar is passionate traveler and travelled all parts of the globe on Business, leisure and Rotary.
Nazar has been guiding and mentoring many entrepreneurs in General and in Tamilnadu in particular, partnering with various forums. He has been addressing regularly young entrepreneurs, Management schools and generally the Student Community. Nazar has been a visiting faculty in many business schools.
Nazar is a Senior Rotarian and a Freemason. He served as a District Governor of Rotary International District 3230 covering Northern Districts of Tamilnadu.
ISAK Nazar is the promoter and founder of Brand "Manna" and is currently engaged in advising and mentoring young entrepreneurs’ with interests in Health Foods, New Age Restaurants and FMCG Products. He is mentor and investor in many startup companies with varied forms of business models. His interest in Brand Building and his experience in FMCG sector is used in guiding, developing many Brands in India.
Dayanand
With ten years of Managing Directorship and Board experience, he brings in a strong strategic outlook to business transformation and has consistently driven organizational change in complex and competitive environments. Dayanand successfully restructured GSK’s West Africa business into a pureplay consumer healthcare company, divesting non core brands.Prior to this he turned around GSK’s Sri Lanka business from being a loss-making unit to one with double digit profitability.
A seasoned professional inthe Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) domain, Dayanand has twenty eight years of leadership experience working for Reckitt, GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare (GSKCH), andUnilever.
With rich experience inmultiple categories like nutrition, homecare, personal care, oralcare, and OTC drugs, he has built world class brands in highly competitive environments anchoring growth on consumer insights and on end to end supply chain effectiveness. With strong belief in diversity, he has led cross functional talent and built high performance teams across diverse cultures. Recently relocating to Chennai, his anchor is his family – wife, and two university going children. Besides his commitment to swimming, tennis and readings in biographies and spirituality, he is deeply passionate about mentoring and developing talent. He continues to coach senior leadership talent in their personal transformation journey.
With extensive experience of working across India, Dayanand has held various leadership roles including General Manager Marketing, National Sales Manager during his tenure in GSKCH India. Having led sales development initiatives in Mexico, China, Brazil, he brings with him strong understanding of trade and shopper dynamics across markets.
Most recently, he was Managing Director of Reckitt’s West Africa business where he transformed the business into a high double digit growth entity amidst a volatile environment. Prior to this, he was Managing Director of GSKCH West Africa, and was Chairman/Managing Director of GSKCH Sri Lanka.
