Drawing on cross-country comparisons and policy insights, the lecture will highlight the region’s unique mobility challenges and opportunities. From China's aggressive EV scaling, Japan's precision in digital mobility integration, to India's innovative policy-driven adaptations, the session will examine how these nations are shaping the future of transportation.

Mr Hisayoshi (Pat) Takahashi is a partner at Deloitte Touch Tohmatsu LLC, Nagoya office He is currently Global Lead Client Service Partner (GLCSP) for Toyota Motor Corporation and Toyota Group Companies, and Deloitte Asia Pacific Automotive Sector Leader. As a GLCSP, he oversees the services provided to Toyota Motor Corporation, its subsidiaries, its keiretsu companies and keiretsu companies’ subsidiaries globally.

Pat has worked in Deloitte Los Angels office from 1988 to 1993. He has extensive experiences providing organization restructuring, M&A and assurance mainly for Manufacturing industry. He also has indepth understanding cross borders projects.

Mr Lakshminarayanan Duraiswamy

Mr Lakshminarayanan Duraiswamy is currently the Managing Director of Sundaram Home Finance Limited He has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, with expertise in risk management, operations and strategy. He was the Chief Operating Officer of Sundaram AMC till 2019. He joined Sundaram Asset Management Company in 2009 and prior to that, he worked for GE Capital India and Australia in various risk management and business development roles across commercial finance, consumer finance and healthcare. He started his career with Citibank in retail operations before moving to GE Capital.

Mr Lakshminarayanan is a commerce graduate, qualified Cost Accountant and Master of Business Administration (Loyola Institute of Business Administration, Chennai). He is also the President of Madras Management Association.

Easwar leads the Supply Chain & Network Operations practice for the firm in India and, the offerings for Asia Pacific region

He focuses on transformation programs that deploy class leading operating models and, modern supply chain and manufacturing systems at organizations with an emphasis on sustainable growth.

Dimensions of the deployment include supply chain strategy & planning, digital supply networks and smart manufacturing across a number of sectors including consumer business, industrial products, and life sciences across geographies.

He is a member of committees of leading chambers of commerce and industry and, works with national bodies on sector specific growth strategies for India.

Easwar has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a Post Graduate in Business Administration.

Mr Giridhara Gopal is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and engineering roles Currently serving as the Director and CEO at Addison & Co. Ltd. in India since June 2018, Giridhara holds the Wholetime Director position at the same company. In addition, Giridhara has been a Director at LM Vanmoppes Diamond Tools India Pvt LTD since April 1993 and previously worked as a Sales/Product Engineer at Grindwell Norton Ltd from June 1989 to April 1993. Giridhara's educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy (1985-1989), and a CMA in Cost Accounting from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.

He is also the Honorary Secretary of Madras Management Association
