AMRIT THOMAS Amrit is a seasoned FMCG executive with 30+ years of experience. He is a business, marketing,

and

sales

leader

experienced

in

driving

transformation

across

categories (personal products, skin care, beverages, sports), countries (emerging – developed) and cultures (multinational – entrepreneur led).

Amrit

spent

13

years

with

Diageo

and

16

years

with

Hindustan

Unilever.

Most

recently Amrit drove Marketing and Digital transformation as the Chief Marketing Officer of Diageo Europe and prior to that as the Chief Marketing Officer for Diageo India. At Hindustan Unilever, he led Beverages Business as Category Head, and Direct to Consumer Start-Up Ventures, as General Manager, setting up and scaling phone-commerce home delivery service.

Amrit has been involved with the Sports Franchise Industry for a decade, initially as the CMO for Royal Challengers Sports Pvt. Ltd. (a leading sports franchise in India) and subsequently as the Chairman.

Amrit’s last role was a CEO of Tech Start Up.

Amrit is an alumnus of Harvard Business School, Indian Institute of Management Bangalore

and

Indian

Institute

of

Technology

Madras.

Amrit

also

has

a

Post

Graduate Certification in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Bath.
