Sreenivassan Ramaprasad

Sreenivassan Ramaprasad, the founder and enabler of Saamartya, is a Masters (M.Sc Tech) graduate from BITS Pilani and a certified NLP practitioner. Ramaprasad started his career with Associated Instruments Manufacturers India P Ltd New Delhi, and consequently joined JK Tyres and CADD Centre in 1989.

At CADD Centre, he grew to become the Executive Director of the company in a span of 15 years. During his tenure in CADD Centre he was instrumental in establishing CADD Centre in Delhi and making CADD Centre a national brand. He developed the equipment business of CADD Centre in 1995. With virtually no employee and nil turnover he built the equipment business to Rs 50 crores in a span of 6 years and strengthened the company to 225 executives. Currently he is the Director in CADD Centre Training Services, Asia Pacific’s largest CAD training network with presence in 30 countries.

Ramaprasad served as COO in a new venture called iKix 3D prints which specialized in 3D services. As a Chief Operating Officer, he was able to successfully get across the concept of 3D printing services to Architectural Industry. He started another venture called Saamartya in 2016 that enables people to develop their people skills and business skills. He is actively engaged in streamlining sales processes of small and medium companies.

He is an active Rotarian, having led Rotary club of Madras West as its 50th President, made the club more vibrant with his interpersonal skills. He also initiated a Dialysis Center for the Club’s Thiruverkadu Medical Centre. He is known for his anchoring skills and he is a regular invited speaker in Rotary circles. Ramaprasad is the current President of Professional Speakers association of India Chennai Chapter.

Ramaprasad was the Vice Chairman of Indo American Chamber of Commerce Tamil Nadu Chapter which is a chamber that promotes bilateral trade between India and USA. Ramaprasad got married to Geetha in 1993 and has a daughter by name Ananya who completed her Viscom( Visual Communications) and a professional actor.

Umasanker Kandaswamy

Umasanker Kandaswamy holds a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Madras is an Electronics & Communication Engineer and has done an MDP from Indian Institute of Man Ahmedabad. With over 25 years of experience in Recruitment Consulting, Umasanker is a headhunter, with over 3500 closures in his career, comprising of top management, senior manage reporting to board positions.

Umasanker has spearheaded large mandate recruitment projects for a variety of industries. Sourci kind comes naturally to Umasanker – he manages IT sourcing with as much versatility as Non IT. Is managing the All India Marketing & Sales for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion consulting across sectors.

A popular problem faced by recruiters then (and now) is that candidates do attend interviews, but not accept the offer or do not join as agreed. To counter this, the team lead by Umasanker devised data capturing mechanism called the “Dialogue Box”. This helped the team leverage both struct unstructured data that emerged during candidate interactions. By employing data-driven profiling the team was able to ensure a very high candidate selection rate and high interview to joining con Today, this data analytics process, under Umasanker’s stewardship, has been scaled up using intelligence and machine learning. Over the past 18 years, the team has profiled and researched over 15,00,000 resumes, drawing their career trajectories and analysing reasons for offer acceptance or decline. Research and Analytics has played a big role in our journey as a service provider of choice for talent requirements of discerning organizations.

Every year, Umasanker has, as a personal goal, been training young generation in the path of Leadership and has been invited by many colleges to be the Chief Guest to address the young graduates & post graduates. His passion for people is equalled only by his passion for music and cricket – Umasanker is a great singer and is a fast bowler.

Deepak Shankar

Deepak Shankar is the Founder and CEO of Mirabilie Design, a San Francisco based software company providing design tools for electronics. Mr Shankar has traveled to over 60 companies and makes it a point to pick up books at everyone airport. Mr Shankar has an MBA from Universiry of California Berkeley, MS from Clemson University, SC and BE from Coimbatore Institute of Technology. Deepak ie a popular speak at industrial conferences and community education forums across the world. He has published over 100 articles and also maintains a regular blog on social, entertainment and business trends. Mr Shankar is a member of Rotary and multiple sports club in Chennai. He has taught multiple programs at the Haas School of Business, Berkeley on careers, entrepreneurship and marketing. He has also spoken on marketing and other business topics in business colleges across India including MICA.

Deepak is an ardent sportsman’s and plays tennis, rowing, cycling, swimming and running. He was the 2019 National Masters rowing bronze medalist.

Deepak believes in the combining of education, books and practical knowledge in developing processes and business plans.
