Dear National Association of the Church of God, Fellow Ushers, and Supporters,
Welcome to the 69th Convention of the National Association of the Church of God Ushers. This event marks a significant gathering of dedicated individuals who have committed themselves to the distinguished service of ushering within our churches. We have reached this milestone through faith, bolstered by your prayers, support and encouragement.
I am grateful to God for the opportunity to serve you and the community through this esteemed ministry. It has been a true honor to serve as Vice-President for the past six years, and now as President. “To God be the Glory.”
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the National Association of the Church of God for its unwavering support and prayers.
We also express our sincere gratitude to the Arlington Church of God, our host church, for the invitation and warm hospitality. May God’s blessings be upon Rev. Dr. Charles Myricks Jr., Pastor; Sister Helen V. Upton, Usher President; the worship team, and the entire Arlington Church of God family. Your sacrificial time and e orts in making our 69th convention a success is noted and deeply appreciated.
Special thanks to the Ohio State President, Sister Yvonne Simmons, her sta , and all the Ohio Ushers for your invaluable contribution.
Ushers, your presence here symbolizes unity, dedication, and a spirit of service that strengthens our congregations. During this convention, we aim to share insights, learn from each other’s experiences, and recognize the contributions of every usher. We hope this convention will enhance your skills and reinforce the bonds within our ministry and community.
Thank you for your commitment and faithful service. Let us make this convention a meaningful, enriching, and memorable experience for everyone!
Best regards and Blessings to all,
Elizab h Ch s -Martin President, NACOG Ushers
Dr. Arnetta McNeese-Bailey Greetings
To President Elizabeth Cheeseman-Martin, Vice President Marie Freeman and the Board of Directors of the National Association of the Church of God Ushers (NACOGU), I count it a privilege to serve with each of you. You have been faithful and committed to the work of the Kingdom for 69 years. As Chief Operating and Development O cer, I understand the importance of your role in the success of our meetings. Whether it is on Zion’s Hill or the various auxiliary events, you have stood strong as “the doorkeepers” and often first responders in the time of celebrations and crisis.
I know of your commitment to excellence and creating an atmosphere of honoring the past while focusing on the future. Thank you for the wonderful way you acknowledge your history of incredible leadership, while listening to hear from God for the “new thing” He has for us today. As Ushers you never cease to amaze me with the way you exemplify comradery and your innate ability to recognize a need before it is spoken. It’s your calling!
Thank you for continuing with the theme of “Healing Conversations – Pathways to Unity.” These are necessary conversations in our churches, homes, and with our neighbors if we are going to be the salt and the light. Thank you for fostering these dialogues to promote unity and positive change.
In His Service,
Arn ta
Congratulations on your first in-person convention! May the Lord bless all those in attendance and the e orts of the planning team to execute this meeting.

to the Ushers of the National Association of the Church of God in commemoration of your 69th convention.
The Eastern New York General Assembly (ENYGA) celebrates President Elizabeth Cheeseman-Martin and the ushers for your dedicated service to the Church of God.
As we celebrate this momentous occasion, we are reminded of the words of the Apostle Paul in Colossians 3:23-24, “Andwhateveryoudo, doitheartily, astotheLordandnot tomen, knowingthatfromtheLordyouwillreceivetherewardoftheinheritance;for you serve the Lord Christ.” Your service is a testament to this scripture, and we are confident that your reward, both in this life and the next, will be great.
May God continue to bless you all, giving you strength, wisdom, and joy in your ministry. Thank you for your faithful service to His Kingdom.
In Christ’s love and service,
The Eastern New York General Assembly
