Use Less Detergent

High-Efficiency Detergent is recommended for front-load washers!

Too much detergent leaves residue in clothing and causes washer to malfunction.

For best results, use 2 tablespoons of High-Efficiency detergent

USE PODS DO NOT place them in the soap tray just toss them in the tub with your clothes.

TRICKS

LIPSTICK Rub detergent into stain until outline disappears, then wash in warm water.

COFFEE Pour boiling water through the stain.

MUSTARD Work glycerine into stain or sponge with rubbing alcohol.

KETCHUP Soak in cold water and rub detergent into stain then wash.

GREASE Soak article of clothing in club soda.

GRASS Rub detergent into stain with bleach that is safe for fabric.

WAX Put area between brown paper bag and press with a warm iron.

INK Apply hairspray and rub with dry cloth, then add rubbing alcohol on the area before washing.

Why should you use pods?

Pods are pre-measured for HE washers, so there is no chance of oversudsing.

Pods combine detergent and softener, eliminating the need to store two products.

Hint: When using pods, do not put them in the soap dispenser drawer. Toss them inside the tub with your dirty clothes.
