I decided to start a bridal book for brides to communicate about their special wedding day. More important, I wanted to let them share what they wanted and not someone deciding for them. I did not want them to feel like, it’s your day but here is what you will have, No, No it’s for them and their choices.
I will guide you and listen to you and you have the say of what your day will entail.

2023 © A Talk with A Bride to Be About Their Wedding Plans
Here is a one-to-one conversation I had with a plan-to-get-married -bride. The main thing they wanted was a stylist for their hair. Later they mentioned venues. So here you will get an unfiltered view of pre planning for the wedding. Let us start with the bride’s desire for a certain style for the wedding. They informed me of their hair type and how they wanted their hair to styled. I selected three styles.
S Like Style
Next, I informed them how the hair is done from start to finish. The style they chose was a cascading curl with slightly loose curls to the shoulder. I showed them pictures of how the hair could be rolled if they desired a certain method. I had a learning module in a class once and I was able to do what’s called a Wet Set. You study each head of hair section. When you use the setting method, you will use certain roller types for sections. The roller types can be large, medium, and small. See sample below.

Closing remarks
As you can see, I did the talk with the bride because I wanted to see for myself how it really is getting ready for a wedding with the bride. It was a learning experience. The main thing I noticed is they wanted to make sure the hair was going to be the way they desired.
The other parts to planning a wedding, they possibly either narrowed it down or found others to do the things they wanted. Overall, I liked learning and making sure I listened to the bride and not just tell them things I wanted without hearing them and making it happen with what they desired.
Lastly, I do not know if they had a ceremony or not. I never returned to the communication space where we communicated. Thank you for reading and if you are getting married contact me and discuss your plans.
