First, we would like to thank all our loyal customers for their support over the past challenging months. Unfortunately, due to current events this year we have been unable to produce our usual selection of new pieces in time for the coming season. However, we have not stood still but have been working behind the scenes not only to create new exciting ranges to view but to expand and improve our showrooms which we proudly invite you to visit.
Gallery we have an area solely for our Wolf watch and jewellery boxes, where you can view a greater range of product.
We would like to invite you to visit our showrooms where our trained staff await to help you choose the perfect gift. Alternatively, our Online Shop shows you a vast selection of both Jewellery, Watches & Gifts which will be gift wrapped and securely delivered if you prefer.
Our Banbury store now boasts its own dedicated Rolex Showroom along with dedicated in-shop areas for Omega, Zenith & Tag Heuer. The space we have created is a wonderful setting to view both watches and jewellery from our suppliers from around the world. I am extremely proud of what we have achieved with the new space and look forward to welcoming you.

We are incredibly excited to introduce you to our brandnew dedicated Rolex showroom, marking a new chapter for Michael Jones Jeweller in Banbury. Together with Rolex we have created a luxurious environment that shares the quality and timeless style of their watches. Since opening, it has had an extremely positive impact on our business, allowing us to stengthen our relationship with Rolex and our loyal customers. Our new space creates the perfect background to view our extensive collection of watches, creating a fully immersive Rolex experience. It has been skilfully finished with marble flooring and intricate bronze fretwork, and is further complemented by bespoke Rolex furniture: this is truly an environment which encapsulates the luxury of the Rolex brand. We at Michael Jones Jeweller are incredibly proud of what we have created within our Banbury show room and cannot wait for you to visit so we can show you what we have achieved.

In September we took on the new Garmin Marq smart watches which integrate revolutionary technology with high quality style and materials. Whatever your sporting passion from golf to flying they have it covered. The Marq Golfer watch comes with Club sensors to measure your swing and a virtual caddie. There is also a Marq Driver watch which has over 250 preloaded global racetracks built in, with auto lap splits and live delta time.
We are lucky enough to have full-time watchmakers at both Banbury and Gold Street, who can carry out alterations, batteries and services. This is an immensely valuable asset to our business allowing the turn around on batteries and general watch repairs to be much quicker.

DID YOU KNOW?
Workbridge is a vocational centre and part of St Andrew’s Healthcare Charity. It helps people with mental illnesses, learning disabilities, autism and brain injuries to learn skills and develop confidence in a supportive workplace setting, making them feel valued and able to be part of a team.
Service users get involved in activities including horticulture, catering, retail, ceramics, textiles, woodwork, woodturning, office skills and general contracting. Each department provides tailored support for different levels of ability. Their Employment Support department helps people look for jobs and find work experience with local employers.
Customers of Workbridge love visiting the Old Laundry site, next to acres of beautiful parkland at St Andrew’s Healthcare. The award winning garden centre, cafe, charity shop and Daily Bread Cooperative Food shop (another enterprise set up by Michael in 1980) ensure plenty to do during visits.

A BRIEF HISTORY
As well as believing in the value of cooperatives Michael was passionate about supporting mental health services in Northampton. In 1979, Michael was Chair of Northamptonshire Mind and met St Andrew’s Healthcare social worker Dorothy Davidson. Dorothy proposed setting up a vocational centre to provide a “bridge to work” for people with learning disabilities and those recovering from mental illness. In June 1980 that dream became reality, and Workbridge was created. In the years to come Workbridge grew, expanding to offer a range of different activities in the following decades.
Michael was Chair of Workbridge for some years and always supported their events. Since his passing in 2017, both his widow Anne and Michael Jones Jewellers have remained committed to Workbridge, with many staff volunteering there.

We were honoured to be invited as your chosen charity in June 2019 as part of 100 years of Michael Jones Jewellers, and we’d like to thank you for all of the subsequent fundraising from the Michael Jones Community Fund and your generous customer donations.”
During the lockdown Workbridge closed its retail and service user sessions, but it has been able to gradually re-open over the last few months. The garden centre and coffee shop are currently open 9am – 3pm weekdays and 9am – 3:30pm Saturdays. The charity shop is open 10am – 3pm weekdays and welcomes donations Mondays – Wednesdays. Workbridge is so pleased to be open again for service users and welcomes referrals from across the county.
