What is HEALTHeACCESS
The HEALTHeACCESS program is a service where you may receive treatment for common medical needs. The program is available for the benefit of all enrolled employees and dependents. Medical services are provided by Franciscan Health.
What HEALTHeACCESS isn't
This is NOT health insurance. Instead, this is a program where you are provided medical access. You are able to see a doctor or a nurse practitioner for common medical needs.
Prescription costs
Many common prescriptions are included! However, there may be additional prescription costs outside of this program, dependent on your need.
Lab costs
Many labs are included, list available. Any required additional (outsourced) lab work would be an additional cost.

Who is eligible for the program?
The program is available for the benefit of all enrolled employees and dependents.
What will the program cost me?
There is no cost to you for this program.
Do I have to make an appointment?
Appointments are not required but recommended for your convenience.
What types of visits are covered?
Standard primary care, wellness, and urgent care visits are all covered, with some specific limitations. Work-related injuries are not covered.
Are all medications covered?
Many common prescription medications are included. However, there may be additional prescription costs outside of this program, dependent on your need. Please see medication list.
Is blood work covered?
There are some standard lab and instant tests that are included in the program. Including but not limited to: complete blood count, lipid panel, thyroid testing, hemoglobin A1C, rapid strep, flu, mono, pap smear, pregnancy and STD testing. There will be an additional cost for any non-covered lab work ordered.
What type of identification will I need to present at the clinic?
A valid driver’s license or photo ID. Insurance card in case additional services are needed. Minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
Where do I go if the clinic is closed?
If the clinic is closed, we recommend using the Franciscan Telemedicine program or the closest emergency room for emergencies. These services will require the use of your insurance.

BENEFITS OF A YE AR LY WELLNESS EXAM
Preventive care is the cornerstone of good primary care. Our HEALTHeACCESS Clinics are a great way to increase access to preventive care for our patients. Routine wellness visits are a chance to speak with your provider about promoting wellness and preventing illness via vaccines, screening lab work and lifestyle counseling. Ideally, a wellness visit is a conversation between you and your doctor to determine what health issues may become a concern in the future and how to prevent them.
Although specific wellness visits vary between patients, the general components of a wellness visit include:
• A comprehensive history and physical examination: Medical history, medications, surgical history, allergies, nutrition status and exercise habits
• Anticipatory guidance: Review your age and gender-specific screening and immunization recommendations
• Ordering appropriate immunizations, lab studies and diagnostic procedures
• Management of minor problems
• Dedicated time for the patient to ask questions
In addition to providing these preventive visits at no cost to the patient, Franciscan HEALTHeACCESS clinics allow patients walk-in convenience and same-day appointments. While you do not have to schedule your wellness exam
with HEA in advanced, we do currently recommend you call ahead to plan these types of appointments to minimize crowding in our waiting rooms and to better allow your provider to plan for your visit.
Franciscan HEALTHeACCESS physicians and clinical staff are actively working to keep our patients safe when they visit our facilities by sanitizing exam rooms between visits and by minimizing the number of patients in lobbies to prevent overcrowding. We also offer virtual visits via our safe and secure Franciscan virtual platform for general counseling and discussions.
