Welcome to this year’s festival The Festival kicks off with a Grand Parade, leaving Martin Primary School at 11.30 to arrive at Cherry Tree Wood by 12.00 for the Opening Ceremony. The theme of this year’s Parade is “100 years of East Finchley”.

The festival has many delights to offer. They include: • Live entertainment across two stages with a variety of acts from the local community • Homemade treats in the food tent and a fine collection of ales and wines in the beer tent • A selection of different food stalls • Over 70 stalls representing a wide range of local businesses and charities • Activities from local schools and groups • A raffle draw with great prizes donated by local organisations.

So come on down with your family and friends and enjoy East Finchley’s unique blend of music, performance, arts and crafts – safe in the knowledge you’ll be mixing with N2’s finest!

Your East Finchley Labour Councillors… working hard for you all year round During the past year East Finchley councillors Arjun, Alison and Colin have continued to work for and with local residents to get things done in East Finchley; campaigning successfully alongside local parents and other residents to get safer road crossing facilities for local children, finally securing a 20 mph zone in Church Lane and supporting the Archer Academy. It’s part of the teamwork and community spirit that makes East Finchley such a special place to live and represent - and that supports our fantastic Community Festival!

Thanks to the support of our local library staff, we continue to run our weekly Saturday Advice Surgery in East Finchley Library and deal with everything from housing and school place queries, to parking complaints, planning and road safety issues. You can also catch up with us at the Saturday Street stall or contact us by phone or email.
