The power of your gardening tool is not defined by the volts or ampere-hours alone. The volt is merely a way of measuring voltage – the tools' watt-hours specifications are much more important. You can check the battery's current charge level by simply pressing a button. Thanks to lithium-ion technology, it can be charged quickly at any time.

A complete charge only takes about one and a half hours.

To prevent the motor from starting unintentionally, all lawnmowers are fitted with a safety key. The motor will only start when you insert this key and turn it. After removing the key, you can walk away from the mower without any worries.

You can achieve perfect mowing results with ease thanks to the central cutting height adjustment. You can select the right cutting height easily using an integrated lever.

MAXAIRFLOW TECHNOLOGY PERFECT AIR AND FLOW CHARACTERISTICS HEIGHT MATTERS Extra tall, extra large – that's the basis of MaxAirflow technology.

Thanks to the extra-high steel plate housing and the extra-large discharge channel, the airflow is increased by 42%.

So unlike standard lawnmowers, the grass clippings are not thrown at a low angle into the grass catcher, but rather in a high arc. This means the grass catcher box is effectively filled from the back, without the discharge channel becoming blocked.

MaxAirflow technology means that the lawn clippings are thrown to the back of the grass catcher box, meaning it can be filled to the top and doesn't have to be emptied so often.

Thanks to MaxAirflow technology, it is possible to mow even long, damp grass, without leaving clumps behind on the ground or blocking the discharge channel. This way, you can avoid getting your hands dirty as well.

INSTART TECHNOLOGYÂ *

A new generation of engines from Briggs & Stratton are used in our top-of-the-line lawnmowers complete with electric start. The energy required for starting is provided by a lithium-ion battery that charges in no time thanks to an external charger. A single battery charge is usually enough for all engine starts in a single lawnmowing season. Subsequent charges of 10 minutes apiece enables a further 20 engine starts. A full battery charge is enough to power up to 150 starts.

COMPACT POWER PACK

Thanks to the innovative design and optimised air cooling, Briggs & Stratton EXi and inStart engines use significantly less oil than comparable 4-stroke engines. Due to lower heat transfer, the lubricating properties of the oil also remain effective for longer, so you can top up the oil instead of changing it.

Once the lithium-ion battery is charged and inserted, all you have to do is turn the key switch to start the motor. So no more strenuous cord-pulling to start the engine, and re-starting the mower after emptying the grass catcher is child's play thanks to the electric starter.

Perhaps the best way of describing the powerful battery used with the engine is "small is beautiful". Its compact size means it can be removed and put back easily.

Even after long periods without charging (e.g. in winter), you can start charging your battery up in just a few minutes and as frequently as you like.

The cutting height can be changed on each axle quickly and easily. The fullwidth axles offer stability and perfectly straight wheel motion.

If necessary, e.g. when the grass is very long after returning from holidays, or when working on pastures or orchards, the mulch mower can easily be converted to the side discharge function.

The energy-saving alternative is useful primarily on hilly terrain. When manoeuvring, the front wheels can be lifted clear off the ground with the drive still activated, allowing the mower to be turned (SP-A model).

SCARIFIERS WHY SCARIFY? In addition to regular mulching, lawns should always be scarified in the spring or autumn to allow the lawn to "breathe". The steel blades of the scarifier penetrate the turf and remove lawn thatch, moss and plant remains. After scarifying, the area should be fertilised directly, re-seeded and thoroughly watered.

SCARIFYING OR AERATING The roller is easy to convert from a scarifying roller with 3-stage steel blades to an aerator roller with efficient steel spring tines – complete lawn care in one machine.

SPLITTING FIREWOOD Using wood splitters allows you to cut down sawn timber effortlessly into manageable blocks of wood. Once split, the wood should be stored in a dry, well ventilated place and should not be stacked too densely. Before the firewood can be burned, it should be seasoned for at least one year, depending on the type of wood, so that it will burn properly and generate a good amount of heat.
