~ 2021 ~ COMMENCEMENT

E X E R C I S E S

MAY COMMENCEMENTS WERE HELD IN PERSON, BUT AUGUST CEREMONIES WERE COMPLICATED BY THE COVID-19 OUTBREAK. THE AUGUST GRADUATES WERE HONORED WITH A VIRTUAL CEREMONY ON AUGUST 20.

Tradition campus ceremonies were held at First Baptist Church Gulfport. COM ceremonies were held on May 2.

The theatre department celebrates the class of 2021. Commencement Grand Marshall Dr. Dan Caldwell carries the university ceremonial mace and leads the graduates from King Student Center to Thomas Fine Arts Auditorium. Mother and daughter, Freda Dedeaux and Shara Conway, both receive doctorates in education.
