Medical Liaison Program
McLaren Northern Michigan Foundation provides donors with personal access to Medical Liaison s who provide comprehensive coordination of medical care.
Andrea Cherry, LMSW
Andrea has worked as a medical social worker for nearly 20 years and joined the Foundation in 2023. She excels at providing individualized support and has extensive knowledge of navigating our health care system, including experience with older adults, end of life care, and oncology.
Tami Frampus, BSN, RN
Tami has worked as a registered nurse for more than 30 years and joined the Foundation in 2017. Tami cares deeply about assisting donors with their medical needs. She has experience in endoscopy, infusion, public school health and home health.
Through their knowledge and expertise, they assist donors by:
• Acting as a liaison during hospital stay.
• Assisting with physician appointments.
• Answering health care questions.
• Reinforcing patient education, as well as providing other resources and support services.
As a thank you to our donors we provide medical liaison services.
If you spend time away from northern Michigan, Andrea and Tami can also coordinate your care to prepare for your return to the area.
