Community Sustainability

Creating a thriving Mackinac Island for seasons to come

Mackinac Island Community Foundation promotes the general well-being of Island residents and visitors by working in community partnerships to generate endowed and un-endowed funds and stimulate community-wide initiatives. Throughout 2022, MICF continued to strive for this mission through fulfilling various strategic objectives. These included strengthening financial capabilities, building stronger operations, cultivating partnerships, and taking a greater leadership role on Mackinac Island by tracking community needs to initiate the appropriate response through proactive grantmaking.
