SIMPLY MIX & MATCH YOUR ADAPTER TO A COMPATIBLE SHANK It’s that easy!

The Mister Hitches Australia team have developed their Multi-Hitch Mix ‘N’ Match system, to give the user a quick fit adapter towing hitch system. This allows for matching a variety of adapters to a compatible shank to give greater height adjustment. The adapters have been designed and tested in Australia to meet the testing requirements of ADR62/02 & AS4177-1.

All Adapter kits are rated at GTW 3500kg TW 350kg, when used with any of the 5 Mister Hitches compatible shanks.

All Adapter kits come with:2 x 16mm hitch pins & clips (Double shear rated at 10,000kg). 2 x 16mm to 19mm shank sleeves to reduce the excessive movement of the hitch on the shank. 1 x Anti-Rattle grub screw & 1 x Allen key tool. The MHMHBM ball mount adapter and the shank can be inverted without loss of rating integrity. Most brands of couplings are compatible with the MHMHBM, such as the Do35 and Stone Stomper etc.

MULTI-HITCH MIX ‘N‘ MATCH ADAPTER SYSTEM

Mister Hitches are the first to develop an adjustable Clevis mount hitch and an adjustable Poly Block adapter.

Note: Adapter kits have been tested with the genuine Mister Hitches 4.5t shanks. Warranty void if adapter is used with a nongenuine Mister Hitches shank.

MULTI HITCH SYSTEM COMPATIBLE SHANKS

All Mister Hitches drop shanks are made from solid steel high strength carbon steel (ATSM A36) & have a rated capacity of 4500kg. The rated towing capacity when used with a Mister Hitches WDH system or with a Mister Hitches Mix ‘N’ Match adapter is 3500kg. Compliant with the static test requirements of ADR62/02

PLEASE NOTE: Your towing capacity is determined by the lowest rated component of your towing system e.g. Vehicle’s tow & ball weight capacity , Tow Bar, Tow Ball, Ball Mount etc.

Ball couplings on towbars are required to be installed so that the height of the centre of the body of the ball coupling is between 350mm and 420mm from the ground when laden (Refer to ADR 62/01)
