More Than Your Story: Recognizing and Escaping Emotional Abuse
I have been fortunate enough to participate in donation drives for The Refuge, interview with mental health professionals, volunteer for families in need, partner with the National Domestic Violence Hotline through “Love is Respect’’ promoting healthy relationships, social media advocacy, and education. This helps me stay current, involved, and able to help those who need support.
WHAT DOES SISTERHOOD MEAN TO YOU?

Sisterhood is strength. As women, we must be able to rely on and trust each other. Sisterhood embodies everything I need to be standing for. Sisterhood is kindness, respect, love, patience, service, thoughtfulness, and fun! Almost everything we sisters do is for the good and nourishment of the relationships around us.
WHAT DOES SUCCESS MEAN TO YOU?
My favorite definition of “success” is the word growth. As someone who likes to learn new skills such as ASL, ukulele, or watercolors, I enjoy the learning and growth process. Additionally, as I seek personal growth, if I am better today than I was yesterday, even by 1%, then I have been successful.
