Empowering the Rising Generation Through Learner Focused Education

Something unique about my CSI is that it doesn’t require NEW organization or program to make a difference, rather it focuses on strengthening the organizations that already exist for education. I spend most of my time strengthening the public education system through one on one mentoring, personal tutoring, peer tutoring, assemblies, partnering with home school groups and helping students discover the need for education in their process of becoming something more than they already are.

WHAT DOES SUCCESS MEAN TO YOU?

I am convinced that “success” looks different for everyone. Because we all have unique gifts, talents, passions, goals, and work ethics. Overall, success means taking pride in what you have accomplished and knowing that you did your very best, no matter what the outward outcome may be.

WHAT DOES SCHOLARSHIP MEAN TO YOU?

“Scholarship” has to be my favorite pillar of the MAO brand. With a focus on progression and learning, the Miss America organization is able to help women all across the country, myself included, to pursue and accomplish their educational goals. This focus encourages myself, and young women everywhere, to be educated over merely entertained, thus fulfilling its mission of preparing great women for the world.
