The Miss Utah’s Teen program (formerly known as Miss Utah’s Outstanding Teen) started in 2005 with the goal of encouraging positive achievement by nurturing scholastic achievement, healthy living, creative accomplishment, and community involvement in young women across the state. Today, the Miss Utah’s Teen program continues to support and reward community service, talent, communication skills, and academic achievement.

As the sister program to Miss Utah, Miss Utah’s Teen shares the Miss America Organization’s core values of style, scholarship, success, service, and sisterhood. In the program’s 18-year history, over 375 young women have competed on the Miss Utah’s Teen stage, and hundreds more across the state have participated in the program on a local level. The Miss Utah’s Teen program not only helps young women across the state build resumes, pay for college, and prepare for their future careers, but it also creates opportunities to gain additional life experience, build confidence, serve their communities, enhance personal and professional skills, and develop performance-related and other talents.
