Favor of FGod avor of God

I pray this newsletter finds you in peace and favor! I am sure you have noticed the current climate of the culture and the truth of the matter that the world is uncertain, as we see in 1 Timothy 6:17 Yet we cannot stop reading there because that verse also instructs us believers to trust not in uncertain riches but in God who gives us richly all things to enjoy! This verse ensures us that though inflation, rising gas prices and shortages are inevitable they have nothing to do with us because we have a promise that God will not only provide for us but will give us all things to enjoy A way that He does that is through the favor of God!

Experiencing the favor of God, requires that we first know what favor is and second we must know what favor does Favor is access, exceptions, and things When yoru have the favor of God in your life, you can expect to see these three components at work It is imperative that you not forget that God is not flighty or changing His mind about His commitment to be generous in your life! Every generous act and perfect gift comes from above! (James 1:17) Our Father desires to shower us with these perfect gifts, but the key is we must ask him! (Matthew 7:11) As we ask Him, we then must be expecting to see the favor at work in our life I pray you have been active in acknowledging the favor of God in both small and big areas of your life! Remember, as you identify the small things in favor, the big will be soon to follow!

Next, we must consider what favor does! Favor protects, procures, prospers, provides, and precedes! Favor is the preceding protection of God! We have no reason to fear or to be in trepidation of what is to come in this world, because favor has surrounded us, as with a shield (Psalm 5:12) I compel you to tap into the favor of God because it still works! Favor not only precedes and protects, but it also prospers and provides Isaiah 43:19 illustrates the profound message of the favor of God, in the midst of the wilderness we will drive on the preordained roads provided to us that are laced with the provision of God! Don’t pontificate as to how you are going to make it, because favor is the keeping, sustaining power of God! I embolden you to get strong in your faith in God and get the revelation knowledge of the favor of God!

Family, I urge you to not forget that Jesus is coming back at any moment now! My prayer is that you stay ready and if you are not ready, that you make that commitment today, so you can too experience the favor of God! Accepting Christ as your Lord and Savior is by far the best and most important decision one can ever make!

EMBRACING EVANGELISM

FIRST LADY ROGERS

John 1:40 – 24 – 40 One of the two who heard John speak, and followed Him, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother. 41 He first found his own brother Simon, and said to him, “We have found the Messiah” (which is translated, the Christ). 42 And he brought him to Jesus.

An unfortunate reality is that evangelism is dying in many churches today; and that is not an overstatement. Not only do recent statistics affirm this truth, just think about the last time a random stranger shared the Gospel with you. I thank God that’s not the experience of our church and pastor and others who have embraced evangelism and made it the highest priority in our church. Very often our Pastor is reigniting our congregation with an evangelistic passion, and I am admonishing all of us to keep that fire burning within our soul. One of the ways that we can maintain the passion for evangelism is by remembering our former life before Christ. The Apostle Paul wrote about his former life before Christ and it was not from a place of condemnation, but from a place of gratefulness (Galatians 1:13 – 24). Not all of us had a dramatic conversion experience like Apostle Paul, but we all, like Apostle Paul, were once without Christ, having no hope and without God in this world (Ephesians 2:12) and for me, it was a miserable existence.

Embracing evangelism can happen by remembering what life was like before you came to Christ. Take a moment and think about where you were when you first heard about Jesus. Think about how you felt when you heard about God’s amazing love for you and how His love motivated Him to send His only Son to die on the cross for your sins so that you can experience abundant life and ultimately spend eternity with Him (John 3:16). Everyone has a story to tell about how Jesus changed their life. For me, the Gospel message is LI-BER-ATING and has brought so much freedom, joy, and peace to my soul! I now want others who don’t know Him to experience His rest (Matthew 11:28 – 30) and most importantly, eternal life with Him in Heaven. The Gospel has great power tochange a person’s life and all it takes is hearing about it. Who will thear about Jesus ofyour passion to share Him? Who will you bring to Jesus?

MeettheSullivans!

Bernard and Paulina Sullivan joined Kingdom Christian Church in October 2021. Bernard is the co-owner of Unified Roofing and Paulina is a homemaker. During their free time, they enjoy traveling and exercising. When asked what led them to join KCC, they stated Brother Braxton Ogbueze invited us and when we heard the great Word, experienced the welcoming and loving people, and witnessed Pastor’s anointing and integrity, we knew we were home!

Increase Testimony

In May 2021 the company that I work for did a re-organization and I was moved into a new role unexpectedly. The role was not a very good fit for me, so I decided it would be a good time to look for a new job. There was a specific position within the company that I knew I wanted so I started applying for those roles. Every one I applied for, I got an interview but did not get the job. During this time, Pastor was teaching on the prayer of petition and that night he introduced us to the prayer box and told us to write down our top 3 prayer request. My top on was a job making 120k/year. I remember being so convinced that night that I would indeed get the new job. I spoke with Pastor and he agreed in faith with me and he prayed with me. I remember as he prayed he said, “God she’s believing for 120k but I believe you can do 140k to 150k.” I will never forget that and I remember saying to myself “whoa, I need to get my faith up” Well in the days following, 3 directors reached out for me and asked if I would be interested in a job they had coming open. All three were the positions I was looking for. I applied to all of them and to God be the Glory, I got too paying job and they offered me 24k more that what I was believing God for. This was the Lord’s doing and was and still is marvelous in my eyes! It happened just like Pastor called it and it reminds me of the scripture 2 Chronicles 20:20 “Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.”

A Christian Viewpoint: Roe vs. Wade

In looking at the recent overturning of Roe v. Wade, a court case in which states were given the option to legalize abortions, there are many different angles and perspectives a person may have on this court ruling Some Christians don’t support abortions However, they support the idea of others having the choice of whether they can or cannot get one Then, there are Christians who wholeheartedly believe that abortion as a whole should be illegal. Are these viewpoints biblical? How does God feel about people and their choices? Where does God stand when it comes to unborn children? There are a plethora of questions that many people feel they need answers to For bible based believers, answering how they feel about abortion should not be difficult. Abortion is not God’s way at all. God’s plan is life. Serving a God who knits people together in their mother's womb (Psalm 139:13) should easily imply that every fetus, or embryo, has a purpose The idea that we, as people, were on God's mind when he made us is very rich. In Jeremiah, it states that "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations." (Jeremiah 1:5). If God is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34), then he didn’t just know Jeremiah in the womb, he knew us all The fight is just beginning. Now that believers are attaining what we’ve prayed for, the time to tend to women who will need homes, food, diapers, and other necessities for their children and babies is now here

Prayer of Salvation

If you do not know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, pray the following prayer in faith, and you will be saved!

Dear Heavenly Father, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. According to Romans 10: 9 10, Jesus I ask you to come into my heart and be Lord over my life. Your word say that "if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." I confess that Jesus is Lord, and I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead.

I AM SAVED!
