marriage is a thing good

Proverbs 18:22 (NKJV) - He who finds a wife finds a good thing, And obtains favor from the Lord.

God bless you Members and Partners! I am so excited to be in the month of February. The fact that we are still alive is another testimony of God’s keeping power in our lives. I can already tell that 2025 is going to move fast as in previous years, but it will be a tremendous year.

In the month of February the world celebrates what is widely known as “Valentine’s Day”. Like most holidays given to us from the world, Valentine's Day is not a “Biblical holiday.” However, it does give Christian married couples the opportunity to make a special time for acknowledging their love for one another. I’m excited about the fact that God invented marriage long before there was a Valentine’s Day or any other man-made holiday.

As it is indicated in our theme verse, God describes finding a wife as a good thing. If finding a wife is a good thing, this means that marriage is a “great thing.” According to scripture, a man who finds a wife not only finds a good thing, he also obtains favor. I believe that one of the most notable places of ruin in our culture today is marriage. Satan has sold the average heterosexual couple on the idea that marriage is a “bad thing” which is in sharp contrast to God’s plan for mankind. God always had it in mind that marriage is a “good thing.”

The word good in the Hebrew is “tab”: this word means well pleasing or beautiful. When God made marriage, He made it to please Him and be a beautiful trusting unit.

When a man or woman comes together in their God ordained relationship, they are to God a “beautiful, pleasing unit” in the earth realm. Marriage is good, marriage is a blessing. In this time of restoration we are noticing a great revival of sorts in the earth realm. One of those revivals is that of “marriage carried out God’s way.” The marriage unit carries what we commonly call “The Blessing.” The Blessing is God’s endowment on something to prosper.

The most obvious scripture to back up marriage carrying out the blessing is found in Genesis 1:28. See the verse below:

Genesis 1:27-28 (NKJV) 27  So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28  Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

included having children and yet it is not limited to having children. Once Christians marry, their ability to produce fruit of success goes up exponentially from where they were as singles.

Fruitfulness is most seen in “teamwork.” Married couples have a weapon of mass destruction at their fingertips, it's called “agreement” and this is why Satan fights married couples so much. Satan desires to keep married people in constant strife so that they stay out of agreement. He knows that once they start agreeing they will be fruitful and multiply and that’s scary to the devil.

This is why Christian married couples should do everything within their power to agree. It starts with agreeing with God and then every wife should agree with their “godly husband.” Of course, you don’t agree with a man that is perverted, but when your husband is doing his best to obey the Lord and follow the Word of God, you should both submit to and agree with him. Don’t let the devil cause marriages to be shortcircuited because of constant disagreement. Remember, Satan is afraid of a Christian couple that simply agrees.

The other thing that married couples should do is start meditating scriptures on the benefits of marriage. Stop allowing your marriage to be a place of pain. Remember, “marriage is a good thing.”  What’s more is the fact that “God blessed the marriage unit”. Don’t take that for granted. There are 5 wonderful benefits of marriage that I encourage you to meditate. Don’t ust read the points, look up each verse and make it a confession for your current or future marriage.

Let’s Explo e 5 ood hings A out Ma iage

VisionUpdates

Partners, just a few quick updates on the vision at KCC. We are on the eve of our Super Seed Sunday. I am so very excited about gaining great increase to forward the mission of Kingdom Christian Church.

Currently on the table are the following:

Another campus site to expand our ministry to other communities.

National television to get the Gospel out to all 50 states.  Campus development for the construction of our new church.  Campus development and procurement for our new K -12 school.

An airplane to accommodate travel to spread the gospel in Kingdom Experiences and other outreaches.

With the help of our partners, we can push the Gospel out to masses by acquiring and building. As many of you may know, churches are going up for sale throughout the United States. Sadly, many churches never recovered from the effects of events like COVID and other national catastrophes. While we do not glory in anyone's demise, we do want to be positioned to procure buildings that come up for sale, so that we can spread the Kingdom concept to others and reach communities.  We have so much work to do and so many lives to change. Let’s not slow down.

Pray about being a strong financial blessing to us on February 16th or before should you be led to do so. We are still promoting the agenda of Jesus Christ. I’m so excited about the call of God on our lives. Thank you partners, know that I love you and I’m praying for your success!
