December 2023 Partner Letter
How to End the Year Greetings Partners! Can you believe that we have come to the end of another year? God has been so amazingly good to each and every one of us and to have come to the culmination of 2023 is a sure indication of His goodness. I wanted to take some time to point out a few things that will be useful in culminating the year. The Bible gives us an indication that we should pay attention to how we end a thing. Hear Solomon’s advice in Ecclesiastes 7:8: Ecclesiastes 7:8 - Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit. Now if you’re like me, you would be wondering, “how can the end of a thing be better than the beginning?” Especially since so much joy comes in starting. The real reason why the end of a thing is better then the beginning is because the end is a time of “manifestation.” God would like us to understand that at the end of a thing we should be seeing the results of what we have been believing for. Put plainly, it’s time to get excited about the things that God has promised for 2023 coming to pass! I remember saying in 2022 that 2023 was the year of “total debt freedom.” For our church and many of our constituents, this came to pass! Now, there is still time left for more dreams to come into fruition before this year is up. I encourage you to meditate the following as you prepare to close this year out. I want to give you three points along with insight scriptures that will help you end the year: 1. Believe for That Which Was Promised: Hebrews 10:23 - Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised;) Holding fast to what God has promised is so key to seeing a move of God in your life. If God promised it, the only thing that can stop it is us giving up on what He said. “Don’t quit,” hold on to what God said even if it seems like you’re going into overtime in faith; you’ll be glad you did after manifestation.
