Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is with so much joy that I submit an article for this year’s Pastoral Anniversary commemorative edition of the Gazette. First of all, I want to say “thank you” to all of my precious members and partners. You continue to keep me encouraged in this journey of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and I am so grateful to you As the founding Pastor of Kingdom Christian Church, there is so much that I can say about this time and season of celebrating, however one major theme sticks to my mind Today I recognize the “privilege of Pastoring ” I humbly realize that there are so many men that God could have selected instead of me to do this job in this time, but He blessed and anointed me to lead this division of the Body of Christ, and for this I am so grateful. A dear friend and mentor Pastor Robyn Gool once said that “there’s not a lot of Pastoring going on these days.” His sentiments were that so many have fallen off from tending to God’s sheep the way that God wanted them to be cared for. I agree and I will also say that many men today have very “ill motives” in pastoring. The average church has become an epicenter of theatrics and talents on parade without any signs and wonders following We are in a day and time in which God’s sheep are being scattered by the thousands due to immorality in the pulpit, church scandals and doctrinal deficits that are causing people to reconsider their walk with the Lord However, I have been constrained by the “call of God” to Pastor with intentional integrity. My motive is and has always been to please God by ministering to His sheep. I never will be the Pastor that can be accused of any such things that would cause a fellow Christian to stumble. In fact, I’m happy to report that since the inception of KCC, God has blessed me to get an early understanding of walking in integrity and loving His people, so much so that I only want to see God’s people get the best. Furthermore, our ministry has had “many” signs and wonders to follow it during our tenure I’m happy to be one of the men left that has not bowed to the Baals of this time such as immortality and an overall unfaithfulness to God Paul gave some tremendous advice to Pastors in our time I take this advice very seriously:

Acts 20:28-30 - Keep watch over yourselves and the entire flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which He purchased with His own blood. I know that after my departure, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. Even from your own number, men will rise up and distort the truth to draw away disciples after them.

I believe we are in some of the most serious of times for Pastors and the church at large According to Paul’s advice, people in churches are receiving distorted truths and being drawn away by those who have erroneous ideas about God Every day I wake up I realize how important it is to keep a watch over the people of God and make sure that this drawing away and distorting never happens at KCC. Pastoring is a privilege, but pastoring is also a responsibility. It’s one that I take very seriously and will continue to do so. I often feel like Paul when he said “the cares of the church are ever before me” (2 Corinthians 11:28). My dear brother and mentor Pastor Rondy gave an excellent discourse on the things that validate our ministry during his last time of ministering at KCC. The summation of his words was those that Jesus gave in response to John the Baptist questioning his validity as the son of God (Matthew 11:4-5) Jesus said “the lame walk, the blind see, the dead are raised and the poor have had the gospel preached to them ” I am happy to announce that during my tenure at KCC I have seen all of the miracles that Jesus mentioned

It blesses me to still be a “relevant Pastor” in these last and evil days. I pray that our ministry will continue to be a beacon light for our community and this world at large. I am so constrained to continue to pastor in a way that will bring Glory to God

I end this letter by saying one more time “thank you ” A special thank you to my precious wife, Stephanie Dear, you have been my “greatest supporter” down through the years, so loyal and so caring and I appreciate you for your love and undying support. Your heart for God and me is seen and felt often. Don’t ever change your passion for the things of God. Thank you for loving me so much and know that I truly love you with the deepest part of my heart. To my children, Lauren, Gabriel, Christian and Stephen, what great examples you are of children who love God. Thank you for making your own special contributions to daddy’s life as a Pastor. Always know that the church does not come before fatherhood You all still mean the world to me and I will always seek to give you “the best ” To my best friend second only to my wife, Pastor Rondy What a friend for the ages When I say “I don’t know where I would be in ministry if it weren’t for you” that’s a true statement Thank you for being a guidepost for what’s normal and accurate in God. Thank you also Man of God for more times of prayer and advice than I can tabulate, you have been the mentor that most men would crave to have, thank you for spending time with me! To my sister First Lady Regina, I love you so much. To my parents William and Lillie, I remain indebted to you to love you for the rest of your lives, thank you for leading me to Jesus as a child. To my sweet Mother in Love, God loves you so much and so do I. I love seeing your life materialize in so much victory! I pray that all your dreams come true for being so sweet to me from the time that I met you

I could go on and on with specific people to thank But to all of the wonderful people of KCC and partners abroad, I want to say, “thank you.” Thank you for believing in me and believing in my vision. The best for us is yet to come as we promote the agenda of Jesus Christ and continue to expand the Kingdom to the world! I love everyone and my prayer is that we can all make it in the rapture together and spend eternity reflecting on how wonderful these years have been. Let’s keep our pursuit on to please the Lord and bring Him as much glory as possible until Jesus comes back to get us. And as always remember “Jesus is Coming Back, Real Soon!”

With Love, Pastor Gabe

To My Husband-Pastor

1 Timothy 5:17 – 18 (NLT) – Elders who do their work well should be respected and paid well, especially those who work hard at both preaching and teaching. For the Scripture says, “You must not muzzle an ox to keep it from eating as it treads out the grain.” And in another place, “Those who work deserve their pay!”

October is Clergy Appreciation month and is the time that we have set aside to honor the amazing leadership of our Pastor. For me, I recognize and appreciate him, every day. It is an honor to pen an article of acknowledgement and thanks for all that my husband does, as I see it from my inside perspective.

Dear Dear,

It’s hard to comprehend that all these many years have gone by Words alone cannot express how thankful I am for you, not only as my husband, but also as my pastor. There are so many outcomes that I can write about in recognition of your 14th Pastoral Anniversary; for the purpose of this article, I choose to recognize your unwavering faithfulness to the call of ministry You are valuable and are a gift, not only to us, the members of Kingdom Christian Church, but to this city, state and yes, this nation. You are rare. There simply are not a lot of pastors in the earth today who are truly after God’s own heart That God would raise up and plant a Spirit-filled Pastor and church at this time is a display of His love and mercy. You are God’s man, a man of God, who belongs to God in a very unique way. You are to be honored in the highest way, loved and supported Some may forget or disregard this truth, to their own demise (Psalm 105:15), but I dare not. I love, support, respect and hold you in highest honor. It is tough to find faithfulness in the pulpit these days. In an age when so many pastors resign or are removed from ministry due to moral failures and a variety of indiscretions, you have NEVER squandered your integrity, stained the pulpit or destroyed the trust and confidence of your congregation You have faithfully loved and served the souls of those entrusted to your care. Through highs and lows, through times of blessings and trials, through times of persecution and failed attempts to discourage and discredit your call and anointing, you have stayed in your love walk and have labored in your assignment with joy, week in and week out. Some interpret the mark of a Pastor’s success solely by how much money comes in each week and how many people are sitting in the pews and sadly, many pastors have been driven by these factors as a gauge of success to the point they are willing to do just about anything to increase the finances and membership; it’s called compromise. From the start of the ministry to the present, you have NEVER been moved by numbers, people or money; it’s called being faithful to God and His Word, and this is God’s barometer of success

Dear, in the words of Bro. Jesse Duplantis, “God has been so good and gracious to us”. He has brought into our life and ministry so many blessings that time would not allow us to count them all Of those greatest blessings, second only to salvation, I am so grateful to our Heavenly Father in every conscious, waking moment, that He has allowed me to be by your side through all these years. With joy and passion, I look forward to walking alongside you 14 more years, should the Lord tarry Then, when He comes and raptures us out of this world and we’re finally home in Heaven, I look forward to being your administrative assistant during the Millennial Reign. Happy 14th Pastoral Anniversary Dear! I love you eternally!

The Portrait of a True Friend

Pastor Rondy Long

Dr. Rogers and I have been friends for over 2 decades. I will be honest I never knew what it was like to have a true friend. I would always seem to be more of a friend to other people but then later discover they weren’t true friends Many times people would use me and my loyalty to them to get what they wanted or needed at the time and then ditch the friendship But there are 2 scriptures that Pastor Gabe has exemplified over the years

Proverbs 17:17 (KJV)

A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.

Proverbs 18:24 (KJV)

A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

He started out as a friend and became my brother. Tears well up when I think how much of a friend Pastor Gabe has been to me over the years. We have been through great adversity together many times and he has never had an evil report, he always had words of victory. I remember back in the summer of 2020. I'm sure I had contracted covid-19. I never took a test but I had all of the symptoms. Dr. Rogers called me everyday multiple times a day, always with Victory and touched and agreed with me until I was totally healed. The next week we were supposed to go to a conference together I thought he might back out since I had just overcome the Virus, but he didn’t change his mind, and encouraged me to still come to the conference I needed that encouragement I was totally healed of Covid-19 but I still had lingering symptoms I had that hacking cough sometimes I would be coughing every 3- 5 minutes He insisted on driving us around while we were at the conference, he knew I was still physically weak and recovering. But the thing I remember the most was that we would be riding in the car maybe 25 minutes headed somewhere and I would be hacking away… just coughing and he never rolled down the windows or acted like he was scared he would contract Covid from me. C’mon you know most people would’ve at least cracked the window a little and leaned away. But no, it didn’t bother my brother in the least. He stayed right there and believed with me until every symptom was gone. That’s a friend. I can tell so many other stories about how he had a word of prophecy for my dream home, and found the location of our current church property. Always laying down his life for me, his friend. Sometimes I wonder why he is such a good friend to me…and honestly I don’t know why. I don't think I have been half the friend to him he's been to me.

He’s just been a gift of God to me and my family. I thank God for Pastor Gabriel Rogers and his entire family.

John 15:13 (KJV) Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends

ESTABLISHING KINGDOM CHRISTIAN CHURCH

In the Spring of 2010, Pastor Gabriel Rogers received the commission by God to “promote the agenda of Jesus Christ” in Charlotte, NC. After much prayer and wise counsel, the very first service, a Bible Study, was held in the lobby of the Angel Gabriel Company on Thursday, October 28, 2010 That Sunday, Pastor Rogers held the opening service with a sermon titled, When God Gets the Glory at Tuckaseegee Elementary. As Pastor Rogers has faithfully sought to please God, the LORD has shown Himself strong and expanded the ministry tremendously Today, Kingdom Christian Church is now ministering to millions annually through the television broadcast, the Grace House ministry and the countless opportunities for discipleship and growth in the Kingdom Community Building All of this is done on a beautiful 12-acre DEBT FREE campus with much more growth to come! Glory to God!

REMEMBER WHEN

The Carters

We remember seeking God by Faith, prayer and fasting for a church and Pastor that would be a Spiritual Father, man of great faith and full of integrity. We were confident that God would speak to us and with surety he would give us our desires. In May of 2014, we visited a church service at Kingdom Christian Church being held at Tuckaseegee Elementary School We soon realized after attending the services, from Bible study, church picnic (non members but felt led to attend the Church Anniversary festivities), we yearned for more of the Word that fed us and was preached seamlessly by Pastor Rogers In June 2014, God spoke to Pastor Rogers as he gave us a prophetic word of our faith! Since then he has and continues to be the voice from God, through whom we ’ ve been blessed financially, physically, emotionally and spiritually!

Jalen Moyer

Growing up at KCC, I remember when we were worshiping at Tuckaseegee Elementary School and Pastor cared so much about the youth that he orchestrated different programs for us to help us stay in the kingdom, keep our purity, and to understand our God esteem One of my most memorable moments was a program called “My First White Dress” This program was designed to teach middle and high school girls how to remain dainty, domestic, pure and my favorite part, the importance of waiting until marriage! In this program it was mandatory for us to help the community by going to the homeless shelter and feeding the hungry, advertising our own car wash for the community and much more This, along with Pastor Rogers’ teachings has helped me to remain pure, and I now have the privilege of working in the youth ministry and making an impact in lives of our youth today. I am grateful to have Pastor Rogers and First Lady who have always cared so deeply about the youth and their future.

REMEMBER WHEN

Sylvester and Kim Pankey

I recall when my family and I attended church at Tuckaseegee Elementary school. Our second child, our son Christian, was the first baby to be dedicated at KCC by our Pastor. We had just joined the church, and we asked Pastor if he could do our baby dedication, and he said yes. During a Sunday service, Pastor held our son and dedicated him to the Lord. Now, our son plays the drums on the youth praise team and loves Pastor Gabe and our KCC family We are so grateful for the godly impact Pastor Gabe has had on our family!

Walt and LaWanda Moyer

Thirteen years ago, we became members of KCC when services were held at Tuckaseegee Elementary School. Back then, our breakout sessions were smaller individual groups known as “Cluster Groups,” led by our DP's. Once a month, we enjoyed a special time of fellowship at an event known as “Dessert Before Dinner” after service. Throughout the years, we ’ ve experienced countless unforgettable moments, but the most remarkable was when Pastor Rogers raised a boy from the dead The young man collapsed during praise and worship With the authority and power of a true man of God, Pastor Rogers rebuked the devil and spoke life into the boy When he arrived at the hospital, doctors found nothing wrong with him! We had never witnessed such faith, power, and authority before Since that day, we've been blessed to see many more signs, wonders, and miracles through Pastor Rogers including in our own lives It’s a privilege to serve under a pastor who has shown such incredible results, INTEGRITY and love We deeply love Pastor Rogers, First Lady, and the First Family

Nasir Roberts

I remember my first Sunday at KCC when we were still in the school, Pastor invited my family after seeing my dad in the mall and recognizing him from college Pastor welcomed us with so much love and such a genuine heart There is no doubt in my mind that my family and myself alike will forever be grateful for the blessing Pastor has been in our lives There are so many other instances I could mention but to put it plainly, Pastor Rogers is a true man after God's own heart

The Branham Family

It’s hard to believe that it’s been 14 years since the inception of Kingdom Christian Church We still remember the first day of service at Tuckaseegee Elementary School We walked in with our baby stroller and young child, not knowing what to expect while visiting this newfound church Pastor played dual roles during the service He was both the musician and the pastor We don’t recall the name of the first sermon, but we remember thinking that we had never heard a pastor preach the Word and incorporate scripture throughout the entire sermon Since that Sunday, we have been blessed to see our small ministry blossom into a large one, impacting thousands of people through our debt-free church campus and our TV broadcast that reaches thousands daily Since we have joined, we have been abundantly blessed with moving into our dream home, job promotions, healings and gaining a wealth of knowledge of God's Word and how to apply it to our life.

DEBT FREE IN 2023

In January 2023, Pastor Gabriel Rogers cast the vision of being Debt Free in 2023 for the ministry and encouraged members believing to be Debt Free to grab the vision in their personal lives as well. He taught us the principles of being Rich Towards God and sowing in faith throughout the year. By October 2023, the ministry became officially debt free. Additionally, many members achieved debt freedom in 2023! Thank you Pastor for always leading by example and teaching us how to win with God in every area of our lives!

FUTURE VISION OF KCC

Looking ahead, the future shines brighter and brighter as Pastor Rogers prays for establishing a Christian school. This visionary project will feature two new multipurpose buildings on campus that will serve K-12 classes during the week and transform into spaces for youth church or weddings on weekends. With God’s guidance and the support of the congregation and partners, this inspiring vision is destined to manifest.
