To our beloved partners, I trust this letter finds you doing well and flourishing in God. I hope that you know that you are loved by God and that you have someone else in the earth realm that is praying for your success! I am so excited about the vision that God has given us for the Kingdom of God and specifically KCC. It has been impressed on my heart in recent days to remind believers to “keep growing.” We should never find ourselves content with a lack of progress in our lives. Growth is a crucial element for life satisfaction and peace. All throughout my development first as a businessman, then Pastor/visionary, I have never been content with having “nothing else to do.” I tend to think that once we stop increasing, we begin to decrease. Hear what the Word of the Lord has to say about God’s plan for us pertaining to “increasing and not decreasing.”
Jeremiah 30:19 (NKJV) - Then out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of those who make merry; I will multiply them, and they shall not diminish; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.
Notice that God says concerning His people that He will “multiply them and they shall not diminish.” He goes on to say that His people will be glorified and “they shall not be small.” Now, to me this is an excellent promise to believers everywhere. We are not to decline; we are to incline in every area of our lives! We must realize that God’s plan is that we are “ever increasing”, this means that there should never be a time when the focus is on decreasing. As an asterisk, don’t feel bad when you’re growing in God and as a result you decrease in wrong relationships. I believe that a big part of “next level living” is to understand that everyone won’t be able to go higher with you as you progress in God. I started learning to play the piano when I was a child, I had a sweet older lady teaching me at the time how to play by music score. She was an excellent theory teacher. As I grew in my craft, she began to realize that the lessons that I would need as a musician playing by ear would be beyond what she could teach. I had outgrown the simple lessons of theory and needed more in the bucket of developing my talent of playing by ear. There would be times in our music lessons by which my teacher would play a song based on the score sheet and I’d then sit down and play the entire song by ear not needing the sheet music and she would simply laugh as to acknowledge the growth she was seeing in me. On one faithful day she knew that it was time to promote me to a different teacher for who I had become, I had outgrown just theory and needed someone to help me in the more complex areas of musicianship. This is not about getting rid of teachers, because for most of us our teachers are for life. However, in life, growth will cause you to progress, and you’ve got to make sure that the people around you, especially peers, are growing lock stead with you. Never sacrifice growth to keep a temporary relationship, always seek better in life, because God desires a return on His investment in you. Hear the Word of the Lord concerning how God views progress or lack thereof:
Luke 12:43-44 The Passion Translation (TPT) - And whenever his master returns, he will find that his servant has served him well. I promise you, the master will reward him generously and he will be placed as an overseer of everything he owns.
The passage above depicts the fact that your growth in God “will be rewarded.” The Word of God declares that when our Master finds out that we have served him well, He will reward us generously and place us over everything He owns. Folks, this is promotion! God is into promotion; He is into elevation and when you are faithful to serve Him on one platform He will elevate you into another. Here are 3 points relative to growth on what I believe God looks at before He decides to promote an individual:
I have found that in all of my dealings with God, the above formula has always led me to success, and this will work for you as well. Always aspire to do things “God’s way.” I believe that people who may even make a mistake trying to serve the Lord with gladness will often get a pass because their heart was perfect towards Him. The Word of God says, “he gives grace to the humble” (James 4:6). Humility is not something that you just are, humility is something that you continue to strive to be everyday of your life. Don’t ask God to humble you. Humble yourselves under His mighty hand and He will exalt you! God loves you today, partner and so do I. I pray that your continued growth causes you to win in every area of your life!
Just as a quick reminder, we are coming into our capital campaign season. Let’s grow as a ministry and add significantly to our project account! We are not going to stop growing as a church. Last year we cut the tape on our Grace House and we successfully paid off our campus! It’s time for us to progress in developing our ministry via more buildings, acquisitions, and television outreaches. We met recently with our Architect and Engineers and our ability to build more “multipurpose spaces” on our current campus is very promising. Design work is being completed now and more feasibility studies are underway. Pray about being a significant blessing to the ministry. We’ve always managed resources with great integrity and over 15 years of growth, this has been shown consistently. Kingdom Christian Church is “good ground”. Take full advantage of your opportunity to harvest by sowing into this ministry. Please know that I am so very grateful for your continued love and support for the ministry.
With Love, Pastor Gabe
If you do not know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, pray the following prayer in faith, and you will be saved! Dear Heavenly Father, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. According to Romans 10: 9-10, Jesus I ask you to come into my heart and be Lord over my life. Your word says that "if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." I confess that Jesus is Lord, and I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead.
I AM SAVED!
Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God is giving you” Exodus 20:12
Christian mothers are a priceless, special gift from God. Throughout the Bible we read about godly mothers who raised their children to become kings, queens and prophets, used mightily by God. Mothers like Jochebed, Elizabeth, Hannah, and Mary raised their sons to love, honor and serve God. These mothers, like the Proverbs 31 Woman, were committed, hardworking and resourceful to their family. The ways in which Christian mothers demonstrate love for their families is invaluable. This month we will show how valued they are by honoring them for their contribution to making this world, and our homes, a better place. In His Word, God is clear about how we are to treat our mother, and father alike. The fifth commandment has blessings attached to our treatment of parents and this commandment, along with its blessings, is repeated throughout the New Testament.
The fifth commandment says, “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God is giving you” (Exodus 20:12). To honor means to “regard with great respect or high esteem”. We are to honor our mother, regardless of age, circumstances, or the type of relationship we have with them and although we give special honor to her on Mother’s Day, our honor for them should extend throughout the year. Now, there are some circumstances where a mother’s behavior is unhealthy and harmful. Even then, honor is still demonstrated, but with appropriate limitations. Young children can show honor for their mother through simple things like cleaning their room, assisting with housework and being obedient. As a child grows older, honor can be shown by asking for advice, not thinking you know better and never speaking disrespectfully. As we move into adulthood, we honor our mother by helping them when needs arise, staying in touch with them and being a financial blessing.
Thank you, mothers. Your work and dedication to your family is neither overlooked nor forgotten. You are important. We love you!

“Dear Mom, happy Mother’s Day. Thank you for always providing for me. From doing laundry, to cooking food, to driving me to school, and so much more. Thank you for, most importantly being a Godly mother and always teaching me biblical truths and principles Thank you for always looking out for me and being willing to correct and discipline me when I need it. Thank you for investing and being involved in my life while many mothers don’t even think twice about their kids. You do so much and work so hard for this family. Even when I am more than a handful, you are always gracious and forgiving toward me. Thank you for keeping me safe and always looking out for my well- being. I couldn’t ask for another mother because you are truly one of a kind and I am grateful to God that I can call you mom and that you are in my life. You are more than deserving of all the gifts you will get this year. I hope you have the best mother’s day yet and I love you.”

“When I think of Mother’s Day, I say that it should celebrate those moms who are worthy of it. My mother, First Lady Rogers, is more than worthy of it. Since day one, I have never lacked anything from her. She changed my diapers, fixed me meals, taught me to clean, and most importantly, my mom taught and is still teaching me the things of God, not only in church but in our home life. My mom is and has never been twofaced, meaning that she is not a bonafide Christian at church but a slack and worldly person everywhere else. There is nothing that can ever sway my mom away from my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This unwavering example of a soft and dainty lady who is also strong is priceless to me. My mom is a modest dresser and I am so thankful that she does not allow for me to wear revealing attire and does not let me blend into the world’s ideologies, therefore teaching me to be salt and light in this dark world. I want to be just like my mother when I grow up because I see how extraordinarily successful she is just because she submitted to the authority of God instead of following the crowd to do evil. Proverbs 31 is a chapter that perfectly describes my mom. I want to wish my mom a special and very Happy Mother’s Day.
-Lauren
As I reflect on the mother you have been to my brothers and me, I am overwhelmed with love and gratitude. There are so many things I can recall, and I just wanted to share a few of them I remember how determined you were to put my brothers and I through private school although tuition was more than your annual salary at the time I remember when our air conditioner stopped working and you made a paper fan and fanned us all night just so we could sleep comfortably. I remember you working overtime and going to school yet, you never missed a field trip, recital, or a game. This Mother’s Day, I want you to know that I now understand how much you sacrificed to see your children have the same opportunities as everyone else. It brings me so much joy to see how God is blessing you in this season of your life and I look forward to seeing you continue to go up, up and up. Today, I “rise up and call you blessed” (Proverbs 31:28). I honor you and I love you more than words can express. Thank you, mom. Happy Mother’s Day!!!

Baheth“One of the most honorable and commendable things about my mom is her strength, not just pertaining to physical strength. I’ve seen my mom encounter loss and never ever blame God or stray from God. If anything she got stronger. She’s always taught me how when things happen, you can have a moment but get yourself back up. My mom is also such a giver I don’t know anyone’s birthday, anniversary that she misses Not limited to those days but she could just give you a card to say thank you and give encouragement. My mom is small in stature but such a giant in the spirit. Happy Mother’s Day”
-Shayla RobertsThere are a lot of opinions in society that suggest motherhood is a threat to all aspects of a woman’s life; namely, her reproductive, mental, social, and economic health. The truth is motherhood is not a rock-bottom job that robs a woman of joy and peace. To the contrary, motherhood is a sacred calling of God. Whether your child was born out of your womb or not, God specifically chose you to be your child’s mother.
In this book, Mrs. Stephanie Rogers shares important principles to strengthen, encourage and equip mothers to optimally carry out and fulfill their God-ordained assignment.
Mental Health Awareness Month was instituted as an effort to reduce the stigma associated with mental illness, address the challenges faced by many, and provoke ongoing conversations and advocacy to promote mental health resources that will benefit all backgrounds and populations. As Christians, we are not left defenseless when we face challenges in our mental health. Below are 5 S’ to remember as tools you can put in your toolbox to stay equipped in having a strong and renewed mind.
Start Your Day with Gratitude - Begin your day by acknowledging and being grateful for all God has done for you and who He is to you. Be specific. (Philippians 4:4-7)
Set Your Mind - Meditate and set your mind on the things that align with the Word of God (Colossians 3:2 & Philippians 4:8).
Schedule time for Rest, Recreation, & Recovery - Schedule consistent times to unplug and recover from the busyness of life. Enjoy times of refreshing. (Psalm 127:2 & Acts 3:20) 3.
Stay Connected - Fellowship with like minded Christians and get connected to a Spirit-filled church. (Hebrews 10:25)
4. Seek Help When Needed - Reach out to a Christian counselor when you find yourself unable to manage stress and life challenges. (Galatians 6:2)
If you find yourself in need of Christian, professional support, contact the Angel Gabriel Company. The Angel Gabriel Company is a Christ-centered and client-focused counseling center that provides comprehensive christian counseling with licensed counselors that can assist you with overcoming the difficulties you are facing from a Biblical perspective.
Create your own “spa retreat” at home- Enjoy a soothing bubble bath complete with candles and soft worship instrumental music. This is sure to provide a relaxing atmosphere for you to be refreshed.
1. Walk and reflect- Take some time to go for a long walk and reflect on the goodness of the Lord. This is a great way to reset your mind on things that are praiseworthy.
2. Invest in a DIY Mani/Pedi kit- While there is a small cost to this one, it is still an expensive way to experience manicures and pedicures more frequently.
3. Spend the morning with God- Wake up before dawn, grab your Bible and a hot cup of coffee and enjoy the sunrise with God. Spend time both fellowshipping with our Heavenly Father and resting in His presence.
5.
4. Relax in the warm sun and read your favorite book- We highly recommend our Pastor’s newest book, Ten Tests of Success, and our First Lady’s 31 Day Devotional for Women.

Chrissy joined Kingdom Christian Church in February 2023. She is currently employed as a Certified Nursing assistant CNA. She enjoys shopping, decorating, sewing, D I Y projects and creating arts and crafts for her daughter in her free time. When asked what led her to join KCC, she stated “As a new first time mom, I felt alone and scared about my daughter’s future but every time I would walk through the doors of KCC, I felt so much love and warmth. The thing that led me to join was the fact that every sermon was exactly what I needed. Pastor Rogers preached about God’s love and all that God has for us if we are willing and obedient. It was amazing to know that even as a single mom, I myself could be used by God and get back on track. Since I joined KCC, my life has gone up ever since!
